THE WEAK WILL BE STRENGTHENED

Isaiah 40: 29 "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength."
Our day to day dealings with the world as Christians is a battle for survival that requires enormous strength to pull through. This is more so, because the life of the Christian runs contrary to what obtains in the world. Our ways are not their way just as God's ways aren't man's ways. It's like running against the group of runners in a marathon race.
The ways of the born again christian and that of the world's are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed to each other. The world's system thrives on deceit, Romans 3:4 says every man is a liar. The world's culture is powered by Satan also known as the prince of the power of the air. It is characterized by gross rebellion. The scriptures says in Ephesians 2:2 "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" The world has a rebellious culture inspired by Satan and promoted by the world's media ; therefore, any person under the governance of the world's system will find it very challenging to follow through orders .
It is for this reason that businesses, marriages, relationships, ministries are easily prone to failure despite the expertise and wealth of knowledge employed by those involved. A business can only thrive when business plans are followed strictly and this requires passing information through the chain of command. Most Chief executives will admit that the greatest challenge in running an organization is finding staff with the right work attitude who'll be willing to follow through company's business strategy. One recalcitrant worker is all that is needed to undermine a company's progress. The same applies to families , when a spouse refuses to follow through scriptural guidelines on how to run a family, he or she becomes a veritable source of emotional ,spiritual and physical stress to their family. This is why many are giving up on their relationships. Marriages are meant to be a source of warmth and strength when couples are committed to prayer and the word of God.That partner that spends less time in prayer and the word of God is often characterized by incessant complaints and fear and becomes the source of losses of the family's emotional, spiritual, financial and physical strength.
It is for this reason that we need to be strengthened on a daily bases in order to be equipped to face life's challenges. Isaiah 40:29 says God gives strength to those who are overwhelmed with life's challenges and increases the strength of those who our powerless. Therefore, whenever we are weary in a marriage or relationship, we should ask for emotional strength to continue according to His will. We should also ask for wisdom to live with difficult persons. God does not approve of His people easily giving up on each other. Living together is easy when we seek first the manifestation of His righteousness in our homes and businesses.
Divine strength is closely linked to righteousness, sin saps strength off God’s people therefore if there is any area of our lives the Lords is dissatisfied with,we should pray like King David did in Psalm 6: 2 "Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed." once we retrace our steps, renewed vigour is guaranteed ,the scriptures says in Psalm 18:32" It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect." The devil will oppose our repentance by sending persons who'll mock our decisions to turn a new leaf but they'll be put to shame. The scriptures says in Isaiah 45;24 "Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed." This is when we need a pastor who'll join faith with us as Apostle Paul did for the church in Ephesus in Ephesians 3:16" That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;"
With the assurance of the prayers of saints and the word of God, we have a promise in God's word in 2Cor.4:16 "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
