"O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen." I Tim 6:20-21 NKJV
The word 'knowledge' is the Greek word 'gnosis' ,it means knowing the act by implication , science knowledge. One of the challenges in the teaching of the gospel is that of teaching faith in line with logic .
The misappropriation of knowledge by neglecting common sense in teaching the gospel is detrimental to spirituality resulting in some persons giving up on the faith .
Faith is logical , emotional , volitional and intelligent . That means faith and science must work in harmony . Science deals with logic or common sense . All mathematical algorithms are factual and faith deals with facts or truth .Truths of both faith and reason are things revealed by God and provable and understandable by logic or reason . This is the foundation of the natural sciences .
The theory of creationism teaches that the universe is a creation of an intelligent designer - God. The is contrary to atheism which claims the universe literarily popped into existence through an explosion known as the 'Big Bang' .
Famous atheist, theoretical physicist, and cosmologist of Cambridge University, Stephen Hawking, said the universe can and will create itself from nothing .
His theory was supported by the Evolutionary physicist Victor Stenger, these physicists assert that there would have been zero energy in the Universe before the alleged big bang , and then there would have been zero energy in the Universe after the big bang, since “matter energy” can be considered to be positive and “gravitational energy” can be considered to be negative. According to Hawking and Stenger, these two neutralize themselves leaving zero energy in the Universe—zero energy before the bang, and zero energy after.
We shall analyze this with logic or common sense and faith from truth revealed by natural sciences. According to the universally accepted First Law of Thermodynamics, “energy can be neither created nor destroyed; it can only change forms” This is a problem for atheism , since the energy and matter of the Universe had to come from somewhere.
Therefore, it will require that a scientist commits an abomination by claiming the First law of thermodynamic was violated during the Big Bang . Alternatively , they would have to deny the existence of energy in the universe as Hawkins would want us to believe , then the existence of gravitational energy to contend with and the fact that it does not have a directional axis ( we cannot tell where it is coming from and going to ) .
This is proof there is something or somebody transcendental to scientific knowledge controlling the universe intentionally.
God created the universe by his Word ( Jesus Christ) who.. ":. being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, .." Hebrews 1:3 NKJV
