WALKING IN THE ILLUMINATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THE LIGHT AND SOUNDS OF THE DIVINE John 11:9 "Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world."            Life is a journey and like in all journeys sometimes we have to travel at night . It is against this backdrop that vehicle manufacturers included night vision in the design of vehicles. Travels by day are more convenient than nighttime journeys because during the day we have a clearer vision of the hazards along our path , despite this , we still need to depend on sound judgment and our navigational skills for a safer journey. We are most likely to stumble while traveling at nighttime than during daytime . In John 11, Jesus compares His decision to return to Judea to a man traveling during the day. Just like traveling during the day does not mean the absence of hazards likewise walking in the light of God's direction doesn't mean that there won't be problem...

HOW TO IMPROVE AND BUILD A STRONG LOVE-LIFE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi Luke 10:2-3  "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields”          Rebellion by children is a response to the stimuli of rejection. Most of us carry the scares of rejection in our lives and if not properly healed could spill over to the lives of our children. Hurting people feel it is normal to hurt others, most cases of abuse are traceable to a history of abuse common among victims of rejection . Only God can heal a broken heart only if we allow Him to.      Most persons have adapted to the life of rejection by building a shield around themselves to minimize the pain from rejection. They never commit fully to any relationship out of fear of being rejected and this affects their relationship and fellowship with God, the result is a world were heartbreak and abuse has become a norm with ...

HOW TO SUPERNATURALLY EXPERIENCE DIVINE ACCESS

By Michael Benson Ajayi PRAYER:THE POWER TO OPEN CLOSED DOORS        Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." Luke11:1         The disciples desired freedom from the shackles of the traditions of the religious Jews which involved the performance of all manner of rituals involving painful and expensive sacrifices before a person’s prayer   could be heard       This was a very tortuous process therefore, being able to pray to God directly without those rituals was a fantastic option .The request by the disciples was not for Jesus to teach them how to pray but rather for them to develop an affinity or passion for prayer like Jesus had. They saw that He enjoyed praying to the Father. Prayer should be something we should always look forward to doing because of its inherent bene...

FIRST THINGS FIRST: AND EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi   FIRST THINGS FIRST : AND EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE Luke 10:40 - "But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me."     The   object of all human pursuits is the sense of fulfillment and peace .   Peace is defined as a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there’s no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom .      Our needs are insatiable . We are made to   believe in the early stages of our lives that peace is guaranteed   if we had more money, education, social recognition, or got married with children and being active in a faith based initiative or religious group. But contrary to all expectations, non of these can truly guarantee a life of lasting peace. It is a chasing after the wind.     P...

LIVING ABOVE TEMPTATION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi LIVING ABOVE TEMPTATION. Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."           Whenever words are spoken, they create in the hearer a chain of thoughts which eventually leads to corresponding   actions and eventually consequences. All temptation starts and   ends with thoughts, therefore, there is no such thing as “ the devil made me do it ” .      We have the power to choose or reject a ‘ thought ’ and once a thought is chosen, the corresponding actions are automatic. God will never teach us lessons with evil thoughts as seen in James 1:13-16 TLB “ And remember, when someone wants to do wrong it is never God who is tempting him, for God never wants to do wrong and never tempts anyone else to do it. Temptation is the pull of man's own evil thoughts and wishes. ...
