THE INDISPENSABILITY OF A SAVIOUR IN OUR SALVATION

 Luke 2:11 “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”  NIV
  The search for the cure for sin is the reason for and behind the existence of the various religions. Salvation from sin has to be logical and its validity beyond all reasonable doubt . It should be universal, easy  to  apply , pure (undefiled);  peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; all encompassing  , wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity)     ( James 3:17 Amp) .
   There cannot be forgiveness for sins except there is atonement with a worthy sacrifice. Unfortunately, the sinner’s offerings are an abomination to God. His or her best efforts at being good is not acceptable before God . According to the law , a high priest is to make sacrifices every year to atone for the sins of the sinner. The high priest will first have to make atonement for his sins before atoning for others . But as sins and wickedness  increased , the high priests were as sinful as the others therefore , the offerings were no longer valid and a new and living way for salvation was required. 
      The futility of religion is that no human being is qualified to serve as a mediator between God and  man , for all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory .  This necessitated the introduction of the services of a God-chosen savior . God clothed  in human flesh for familiarity and to fulfill the demands of the laws of Moses , came as great high priest to liberate man from the bondage of sin.
  God is holy ,perfect with no room for sin in His heavenly domain . It takes breaking one of His laws to be a sinner (James 2:10) the most pious of all men is as guilty as the worst sinner before God ,  Eccl 7:20 Says “ Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins.” NLT Therefore , a savior is indispensible in the salvation equation . He must be able to save all mankind even those in the remotest parts of the world.  1 Tim 1:15 NIV says “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..”  and Heb 7:25 KJV  “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”
  Jesus became man’s substitute received our punishments for sins  ,Isaiah KJV  53:5 “ But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;.. “ Gal 3:13 NKJV  “ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")
      He bore the sins of humanity Isa 53:12 KJV  “Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (1Pet 2:24,1Jn3:5) .Jesus carried the burden of humanity Isa 53:4 NIV  “ Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows..,”  He offered himself as a sacrifice for a onetime payment for sins  (past, present, future) John 15:13 KJV says  “ Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (Ga1:4,Eph 5:2, Tit 2:14) 
        He is absolutely indispensable  , He remains the only Intercessor  (Isa 59:16) The only foundation for salvation (1Cor 3:11) the only savior (Acts 4:12) The only source of truth (John 6:67)  the only source of spiritual nourishment (John 6:35) and remedy  to the destructive effect of sin (John3:14-15)
 Prayer : Heavenly Father , forgive me of my sins, I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised for my salvation  , I receive as my lord and savior and receive grace for stability in security in Jesus name .

His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
