WHEN YOU ARE MARKED FOR A DIVINE ENTHRONEMENT

2 Samuel 3:1 'Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.'
1 Samuel 16:13 'Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.'
   This is one of the most extraordinary event in the Bible with regards to the role  God plays in the affairs of men while executing his purpose on earth . The Bible says ." .. it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses—     even to the lowliest of people.”  Daniel 4:17
   The lord had anointed David king while there was yet a ruling king Saul in  Israel , this a lesson that nobody is indispensable before God . Saul was full of pride and presumptuous . On one occasion he began to play the role of a priest even when their was a presiding priest and prophet ; Samuel . The Bible says in 1 Samuel 13:13 "And  Samuel said to Saul, Thou  hast done foolishly: thou  hast not kept the  commandment of the Lord  thy God, which he  commanded thee: for now  would the Lord have  established thy kingdom  upon Israel for ever. 14 But  now thy kingdom shall not  continue: the Lord hath  sought him a man after his  own heart, and the Lord  hath commanded him to  be captain over his people,  " 
  From that moment the anointing of the Holy Ghost began the process of the depreciation of king Saul's influence over Israel and simultaneously began increasing David's influence.  God's choice of David was based on his love for God and Israel and his humility.. James 4:6 says 'But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." 
   David had no prior political training nor belonged to a political structure , meanwhile King Saul was in control of the arsenals and political structure of Israel.
   God is the owner of all political  structures , the Bible says Matthew 6:13 "And lead us not  into temptation, but deliver  us from evil: For thine is the  kingdom, and the power,  and the glory, for ever. " God leads the arrogant into temptation of presumptuousness , this a false sense of confidence designed to humiliate the proud. (Isaiah 63:17, Psalm106:15).
  Eventually , at the Lord's prompting all structures collapsed into a new political framework that saw David being made king of two nations Judah and Israel , the lord began to raise support from the elders of both kingdoms . 1Chronicles 11: 3 "Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel.' 

2 Samuel 2:4 "And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. " 
  When a person is marked for enthronement the purpose is bigger than any individual and God will stop at nothing to fulfill purpose : all of Davids enemies were annihilated 
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you  I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again I receive him as lord and saviour and received the Holy Spirit and power for creativity. Amen

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. This type of reasoning turns us into enemy's of God.    The gospel is so much under attack by the activities of faithless religionists . They plan to replace the holy scripture with humanistic dogma.
