Proverbs 20:9 NLT   Self-righteousness is when a person thinks in himself or herself  that he or she is good or righteous by personal effort or good deed. But the Bible says we are not as good as we think . Self-righteousness is synonymous with the proud : those who have fallen from grace .      True righteousness is only attained by faith in God. The key word is 'continuous' .       God is not angry over complaining about a thing once or twice but when it becomes ten , twenty times until it becomes a daily routine then it becomes harmful to you and those around you.
