RISE ABOVE THE FEAR OF REJECTION

 Luke 15:18 ‘ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.’
         You cannot get to your desired direction if you are heading in the wrong direction at supersonic speed. Most times in a bid to get to the our desired direction we change our mode of transportation but not the direction. This is why we find it hard to commit to a godly relationship. Speed does not determine a change of direction , but the right navigation does ,unfortunately modern Christianity places more emphasis on speed instead of navigation.It preaches deliverance not repentance. You can not build a godly character through this type of thinking. 
          True repentance does not require a person trying to justify one’s  actions, but humbly appealing to God’s  mercy.  We are to put all of our faith in a Saviour and not on self-righteousness ( 2 Chr. 7:14). Repentance requires godly sorrow and a change of perspectives accompanied by godly deeds.
     Ungodly sorrow leads to depression with negative health implications even death .It is not from God. Repentance is the fruit of godly sorrow and requires rejecting the previous anti-God  mindset and making a commitment to allow God mold our character in line with His word. Refusing to reject sin is counterproductive  to the development of a godly character. This requires rising above rejection by popular opinion. The fact that a habit is popular doesn't make it right.
        Ungodly sorrow is behind the suicidal tendencies and recklessness in the world . In Christ our ungodly sorrow is taken away when we surrender to Him without reservation ,Isa. 53:4 We receive forgiveness of sins from God through Jesus  Christ (Ephesians 1:7) and it is the guarantee that one is forgiven that cures fear and grief.This is what brings about the desired changes and virtue in our lives in line with God's plans for us. Religion cannot guarantee salvation but the blood of Christ can.
    As you read this now whatever was meant for your shame shall bring about your promotion in Jesus name.

An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
