POWER TO GET WEALTH (PART 4)

1 Peter 2:9KJV " But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
     The word 'marvelous' as used in this scripture is the Greek word 'thaumazo' meaning 'to have in admiration' and the word darkness is a word which means 'shadiness'. God's plan is for you to experience prosperity in a world bedeviled with economic woes and confusion caused by shady dealings .Your prosperity will make you become the center of attraction wherever you are. 1Peter 2:9 says God wants to show you off to the world as trophies of grace, signs of His benevolence.
        Jacob experienced this in the hands of a treacherous master Laban who did everything possible to undo Jacob but instead he thrived, flourished and made gainful progress in adversity. The scriptures says in Gen 30:43KJV "And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses"he thrived in the midst of economic inflation and was envied by Laban's sons . The world can’t stand prosperous Christians because they threaten their way of life. Rich Christians have the capacity to buy up estates that were criminal hideouts and turned them into useful community development centers. 
       Similarly, Isaac was in a country that experienced extreme lack and economic downturn, and instead of immigrating to a better place, God told him to remain in that community and caused him to flourish (Gen:26) .Prosperity isn’t a function of geographical location but covenant relationship with God. The period of scarcity brings about fear, hopelessness and uncertainty to those without an understanding of the covenant of prosperity that exists between God and His people through Jesus Christ.
       Instead of panic in times of adversity, we should turn to God's word for directions. He is behind the shaking of the world’s economy and it is for our common good( Hag.2:6-8). He promises to rescue you and make you a sign and a wonder to other nations.Scriptures says in   Zechariah 8:13 (NLT): "Among the other nations,… Now, I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don't be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the temple!" You shall be a source of financial help to others by reason of covenant prosperity as long as you remain committed to spreading the gospel.
    Daily declare your immunity to the economic inflation because He says in Job 5:20, 22 (NLT): " He will save you from death in time of famine…” because of your faith in Him, He also promises in Psalm 33:18-19: to deliver your souls from death, and to keep you alive in famine." Your future is bright child of God, Psalm 37:18-19 says : you will have more than enough [ more than is needed] during famine. You will thrive  [ advance and grow vigorously, Prosper, flourish, succeed, breakthrough] in Jesus name.

An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
