YOUR IMMUNITY AGAINST CURSES

Psalm 119:71 “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statues.
       The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ meant that all the demands of the law were fulfilled Mat.5:17. Failure to obey the laws of Moses meant death for the guilty party and Jesus Christ took the place of humanity on the cross taking upon himself all our curses(past,present,future) leaving none behind, that's what the scripture "becoming a curse for us.."  means in {Gal3:13, Deut21:23 } The blood of Jesus Christ is our eternal immunity against curses (Eph1:7,Heb.10:10). 
        The era of the ministration of condemnation and curses ended when Christ was crucified (2cor.3:9-11)we are under the ministration of righteousness (Rom.3:28) unfortunately, many preachers still minister condemnation by attributing trials, temptations to curses from the laws of Moses or from witches and wizards. This teachings are behind the increase in suicide rate .It leads to overwhelming  sin consciousness (Rom5:20) instead of love and fearful death consciousness(2cor.3:6) instead of life. Trials are part of the christian race and does not require running from place to place seeking for 'deliverance' over what we have been equipped to deal with wisdom.   
        Trials come when we refuse to correct ourselves of known errors in our hearts Jer. 5:25 "Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholding good things from you". They are also caused by praying and making requests with wrong motives. James 4:2,3" ye ask and receive, not because ye ask a miss, that ye may consume it upon your lust". It’s not always good to get the desire of your heart (Psalm 73:3,7,16,22) 1Tim 6:9,10 says "They that will (desire ) to rich fall into temptation … & many hurtful lusts" If God answered everyone's (ISIS,Gboko Haram included)  prayers, that would spell disaster for humanity. 
         God may deny you  a thing because He has better plans for you. Psa 81:10-13,16 says "He would have fed them the finest of wheat ….". Therefore ,it is dangerous to stubbornly insist on getting one's way (Psa. 78:27-31. says "He gave them their own desire.. but …. the wrath of God came"also Ps 106 14:15 says. "He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul"what you give up for the Lord, he will often return in abundance {Gen 22:12 Heb. 6:15. }Your patience leads to the fulfillment of God's promise. (Heb. 10:36, Eccl. 11:1-3). Like fish in a river is immune to dying of thirst so is the born again christian immune to curses , we are licensed to succeed through the blood of Jesus Christ.

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
