ACTING ON GOD'S WORD RELEASES EXTRAORDINARY POWER

Matthew 14:29, "And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus."
      Peter found himself in uncharted territory, it was scientifically impossible for a person to walk on water  except frozen water -ice. He knew for this to be possible ,he had to surrender to a law that transcends physical science. His response to Jesus' invitation was what activated the transcendental power of creation that suspends the galaxies in their positions. Jesus Christ is the personification of the Word of God in the physical with infinite authority over all creation [John1.3] This is where the power came from that enabled  Peter to walk on  water.
        Whenever God speaks , His word carries the self regenerating power needed to confirm what is spoken.We release this power by believing in God's word and acting on it.This is the same power that raised Christ from the grave and God wants us to be well acquainted with His power. This exceeding greatness of God's power works in our favour.
         God's power is effectual only to those who totally rely on Him.Peter was ready to die for what he believed in. We must believe without reservation to receive a miracle . As long as Peter's focus was on Christ he walked on the water and eventually walked with Jesus back to the boat over a long distance after a momentary failure. Do not allow past disappointments hinder you from trusting God for a mind-bugling and science-defying miracle today,the thoughts of glory after victory should  overshadow any fear that may want to arise. Think more about victory more than anything else. Peter distinguished himself from the other disciples through his way of thinking.
          The other disciples were too afraid to trust the lord and missed out on this once in a life time experience  .To receive a miracle from God, one has to leave the security of one's personal  provisions and be willing to walk in uncharted territories where there are no other options outside a divine intervention. God has no super apostles  (Rom. 2:11). Anyone can walk on  water and it could be you. God wants to express His power through you in the most extraordinary manner.

      Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace for an extraordinary miracle in Jesus name

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
