  Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi  Matt 24:40-41 KJV “ Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the bmill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”    The word  ‘taken’ is the Greek word  ‘paralambano’ it is a clause from two words ‘para ‘ which means to draw near and ‘lambano’  which means to seize or remove , it means  to receive near to assume an office . The scripture describes an event reminiscent of a Sci-Fi movie, where believers   would literarily be removed from the earth into heaven.  It is likened to the event of  Noah’s era .      The scriptures says  Matt 24:37-39  "When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day.  In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. Bible scholars have been studying the scriptures in other to have an understanding of the events of the end times,  the crisis in the middle east , religious extremism  and the imminent threat of a world war have further reinforced their belief that we are in the end times.        The blessing of God upon a believer is an eternal power to succeed as long as requisite laws are followed. The universe operates by systems such as the solar system, navigational system, agricultural system, biological systems, Astra system, economic system, political system , family system and so forth . Each system operates by laws and it is important we understand how each system works in other to enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings upon our lives.         Most of what is referred to as curses are the consequences of violating these laws. The born again Christian is blessed with all spiritual blessings and the manifestations of these blessings are conditioned on we taking the necessary steps of faith.  Faith without work (necessary and specialized skills) is dead. A pot of soup can only taste good when the ingredients are properly prepared in the right proportions. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.  Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends.
