PREPARATION PRECEDES BLESSINGS (2)
The blessing of God upon a believer is an eternal power to succeed as long as requisite laws are followed. The universe operates by systems such as the solar system, navigational system, agricultural system, biological systems, Astra system, economic system, political system , family system and so forth . Each system operates by laws and it is important we understand how each system works in other to enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings upon our lives.
Most of what is referred to as curses are the consequences of violating these laws. Each law has within it the power to punish those who violate the law . The law of the solar system does not allow a person to gaze directly into the sun, violating this law leads to a person being punished by the sun with blindness. Therefore, to enjoy the universe a person must be able to make the necessary preparations to observe its laws.
Preparation always precedes blessings, the coming of the messiah (Jesus Christ) came with preparation Isa 40:3 says “ A voice of one calling:" In the desert prepare the way for the Lord ;make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. NIV
The family or family torn by strife needs reconciliation for there to be peace and it requires preparing for a general repentance. Reconciliation opens doors for prosperity. We cannot be reconciled to one another and God without genuine heartfelt repentance. Joel 2:12-13 NIV says 'Even now,' declares the Lord, 'return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.' Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.” Reconciliation opens the door to divine revelations of God’s will for our families and without vision or revelation God’s people perish. There are situations that seem difficult to handle because God has not revealed the formula on how to deal with the condition.
Divine visions and revelations come with proper preparations in the school of obedience. A willing and obedient heart is a very fertile ground to grow seeds for the miraculous, we see an example of this in John 9:6- NIV 7 “Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.” our salvation is by Jesus’ obedience on the cross however our faith in him is what brings about miracles and it often demands a corresponding act of obedience. Ask the lord to give you an obedient heart.
The price has been paid for our miracles however , we have a role to play in the manifestation of the miracle just as Lazarus’ resurrection required a rolling away of the stone from the grave. The scriptures says in John 11:39 "Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days." NIV
We have a role to play in our journey of faith and this requires great preparation, this will determine whether a person will enter heaven or not ( Rev.7:13-14) .
Prayer : Heavenly father , forgive me of my sins against you , I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as lord and savior and receive grace and strength for devotion to the pursuit and fulfilment of your righteous will in Jesus name .
