THE CONCEPT OF SUBSTITUTIONARY SACRIFICE

Lev.16:21 "And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:"
  Isaiah 53:12 "Therefore will I  divide him a portion with the great, and he shall  divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath  poured out his soul unto death: and he was  numbered with the transgressors; and he bare  the sin of many, and made intercession for the  transgressors."
       Substitutionary atonement is the concept that Jesus Christ took the place of mankind, suffering the deserved punishment for our sins. By atonement we are reconciled with God .
     In the old testament amendment for sins   were made by having a goat take the place of the sinner . The goat was then released into the wilderness were it was killed by wild animals or the elements . This process is the concept of vicarious atonement were one takes the penalty for sins for another .   
        Jesus Christ was substituted for humanity and punished for our sins in order to pay for the sins we had committed  and reconcile us to God. This process is sometimes referred to as ' penal substitution '. The scriptures says in 1 Peter 3:18  “the righteous [suffering] for the unrighteous.” and Colossians 1: 14 " In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: " Mark 10:45 says Jesus Christ came to  “give His life as a ransom for many.”
    He  paid a  ransom for  believers and by so  doing we “were bought with a price” by Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthian 5:21  "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who  knew no sin; that we might be made the  righteousness of God in him."
  It is out of place to try to pay for sins by engagement in religious duties or sacrifice when Jesus Christ has  paid for our sins once and for all .We should rather show our appreciation to the Lord for making us partake in his glory through thanksgiving and love for one another . Religious sacrifices and good works cannot atone for  sins ( Galatians.2:16 ,Psalm51:16 ) 

 Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as my lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and freedom from all spiritual bondage in Jesus name.

An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. This type of reasoning turns us into enemy's of God.    The gospel is so much under attack by the activities of faithless religionists . They plan to replace the holy scripture with humanistic dogma.
