HOW TO BRING THE BEST OUT OF OTHERS

The Christian community functions like the human body with each part adapted to specialized functions and yet working in harmony as one homogeneous entity. The scriptures says in 1 Corinthians 12:20 AMP "And now there are [certainly] many limbs and organs, but a single body". The Holy Spirit is the life giving source of the church of Christ; also referred to as heirs of the kingdom of God .
John 3:5 says" ... Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." the body of Christ is not ordinary like the human flesh, it is spiritual, the scriptures says in John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. " We are spirits and driven by the laws of the spirit. These laws are different from earthly laws . Earthly laws are based on physical evidence and are limited by human intellect. It is for this reason that Christians guided by earthly laws easily give up on life. Human wisdom is extremely limited compared to God's wisdom.
Relationships founded on the world's wisdom are devoid of substance and full of insecurities ,the scriptures describes the guiding principles that govern such relationships in James 3:15 AMP "This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal)." Those governed by the world's system are always economical with the truth and afraid of each other.
God does not want us to build our homes and relationships based on the dictates of the world's media. The world's media promotes selfishness and rebellion against divinely constituted authorities (Ephesians 2:2) that is why it's becoming harder for people to leave together. Christians who are addicted to the world's media struggle with keeping relationships.
Divine wisdom teaches that whatever you do to your neighbour affects you directly or indirectly Therefore, only actions that are edifying are permitted in a godly relationship. God's wisdom teaches us on the virtues of patience in the transformation of a person's character. For instance, if a man marries a twenty six year old woman, he needs to live with her for at least twenty six years before he can claim to understand her. Her character at the point of marriage is the summation of twenty six years of her life experiences . Therefore, they should both give each other sufficient time to change and while waiting they are expected to pray for each others shortcomings. This is contrary to the world's wisdom which often advocates abandonment at the slightest hint of trouble.
Imagine if God were to respond to us the way we treat each other, it would definitely be catastrophic. The scriptures describes the texture of the relationship built on biblical wisdom in (James 3:17 AMP) it is pure, peace-loving, courteous, considerate, gentle, willing to yield to reason,full of compassion and good results, it is straightforward and responds wholeheartedly, it is impartial, free from doubts,does not waver and sincere.
The recognition and commitment to improve on our neighbours' or partner's weaknesses is what brings out our true potentials as master -builders : so while the world seeks for safer grounds we boldly confront the challenges of bringing out the masterpiece in our partners . It starts with the rededication of our lives and a commitment to live for Christ and the baptism in the Holy Ghost .This is where the power for change lies ( Acts1:8). The world is quick to jettison the weak for quick relief but Jesus Christ says, "we are in this together " and just as neglecting to clean the anus leads to the stench of the entire body likewise we are to invest more on the least appealing members of the body of Christ. God’s wisdom says in 1 Corinthians 12:23-24 NLT "And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen, while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity." therefore that weak member of our community ,sickly and unemployed husband or wife desires more honor and care than the so called well - to -do members of our social class. There are no non- entities in the house of God.
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me for my sins against you. I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation and I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and wisdom for strong and productive relationships in Jesus name. .
