Michael Benson Ajayi  Ps 68:18 KJV “Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them”    The above scripture says God loves rebels and has great plans for them.  Rebellion is resistance against divinely constituted authority. It is worthy of note that not all authority is divine .Any authority that seeks to suppress the truth of the gospel is not of God and should be resisted.  2 Cor 10:5 KJV  says “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”  therefore , we are not expected to be under an ungodly authority . Rev,Michael Benson Ajayi  Deut 14:28-29 TLB " Every third year you are to use your entire tithe for local welfare programs : Give it to the Levites who have no inheritance among you, or to foreigners, or to widows and orphans within your city, so that they can eat and be satisfied; and then Jehovah your God will bless you and your work."        God instructed His people according to the old testament to give back to Him the first of or best of the tenth part of everything He gave them Deut 14:23 TLB ” Bring this tithe to eat before the Lord your God at the place he shall choose as his sanctuary; this applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn of your flocks and herds. So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”      Note, Jesus did not attribute the disciples’ failure to ancestral curses , curse of the first born ,witches or wizards, as often claimed by modern prophets : none of these have the capacity to prevent your miracle from coming to pass  in Christ (Luke10:19) only if we believe. Michael Benson Ajayi Ex 3:20-22 NKJV  “ And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed. ”               The word  ‘ favour ’  used in this scripture is the Hebrew word  ‘ chen ’  and it means graciousness, kindness, beauty, pleasant, precious. Therefore, when a person is operating under divine favour he or she becomes a recipient of extraordinary goodwill .           In the New Testament,  ‘ favour ’  is used interchangeably with the word  ‘ grace ’ .  It is our insurance policy against failure or defeat in our mission to the spread the gospel . By  Michael Benson Ajayi Mark 9:14 -29"And when he came to  his disciples, he saw a great  multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them....And  wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to  thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not."        The word 'questioning'  is the Greek word 'suzeteo' which means to: investigate jointly, i.e. discuss, controvert, cavil:--dispute, enquire, question , reason together. There was a strong dispute between the disciples and the multitude on a wide range of issues bordering on the authenticity of scriptures and from all indications the crowd of unbelievers  were dissatisfied with and lost faith in the disciples. Its impact on life is tangible and transcendental in comparison with any human experience.          It goes beyond the forgiveness of sins: it is a participation in the elements that constitute the divinity of Christ. The scriptures say in Matt7:11-12 that our Heavenly Father gives  ‘ good things ’  to those who ask Him.
