He was groomed by a faithful mother Hannah who vowed to give him to God in appreciation for breaking the yoke of her barrenness. "   There is a difference between love of God and Love for God .The first is God expressing his love through a person to others even if you do not have a passion for them . Case in point , is God using Jonah to save Nineveh .
