"YOUR KINGDOM COME"

Matthew 6:10 AMP "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
              This verse is part of what is popularly known as the Lord's prayer (Matthew 6 :9) with the first statement being "our Father " meaning God is the father of all, He is not more of a Father to any one person than to another and nobody has the monopoly of access to God ,therefore, all prayers , petitions, thanksgiving and supplication should be made directly to Him.
              We have equal access to the Heavenly Father with equal opportunities. The knowledge of our relationship with the Father reveals the power of His Kingdom. The word 'kingdom' is the Greek word 'basileia '; it means ;properly, rule, a realm, bases, and it owes its origin from  another Greek word 'basis' which means; to walk ; a pace ("base"), therefore, when Jesus prayed 'thy kingdom come ' He means  we should be under the influence of God’s rule with our steps guided by him in other to establish His rule on earth for the purpose of attaining proper governance on earth. There can be no proper administration of justice on earth outside the rule of God’s kingdom. The kingdom of God is all about being under a divine influence also known as grace. God owns the universe (Satan, demons inclusive) and has given His children dominion over Satan's government and the world's system. Through grace we are able to solve complicated problems like Daniel in Babylon and Joseph in Egypt thus dominating in all fields of human endeavours .  
             When a person is under the influence of the kingdom of God, he or she affects others with righteousness ( moral rectitude ) peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17) . Daniel and Joseph were able to positively affect the culture of the nations they  dwelt  in . True Christianity is all about the promotion of God’s kingdom while false Christian religion seeks to promote selfishness and the lower human sinful nature. Those who practice this form of Christianity are neither hot nor cold in matters of God’s kingdom (Rev.3:15-16)   they worship God using human parameters; this mode of worship is fraught with inconsistencies, deceit, arrogance, hypocrisy and fraud ; it is therefore ,no surprise that the so-called ‘very religious’ countries are the most corrupt in the world .
             Religious Christians have an illogical approach to faith without a personal relationship with God. They find it hard to think outside what they are told by their leaders who demand they " take it by faith ". . Apostle Paul calls this a bewitching in Galatians 3.1-3 . This is contrary to the born again experience which emphasizes a personal knowledge of God based on understanding and faith that is logical, emotional, intuitive and volitional.
         Religion separates man from God’s kingdom. Matthew 3:2 AMP says"And saying, Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."  True repentance is only possible under the influence of the kingdom. The power of the kingdom is the ability to live for Christ, not by our strength but the power of His Kingdom. Luke 11:20 says " But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."  This means the power of His kingdom is within reach to do miracles, signs and wonders by those who believe.
         Jesus is the embodiment of the kingdom of God. He said except a man be 'born again', he cannot see the kingdom of God ( John 3:3) . When we receive Jesus as lord and saviour we automatically receive the kingdom and are exposed to the reality of His power within us. The church of Christ is the personification of the kingdom of God on earth and has been given the responsibility of promoting God’s kingdom on earth ( Ephesians 3:9-10) it is through the church that the world can truly attain her full potentials. Luke6: 20 says "… Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. “ this means  the  citizens of the kingdom are entitled to receive  provisions and security from  the King of kings  . As you receive Jesus Christ as lord and savior and read this now receive grace for unlimited provisions in Jesus name.

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
