REASON TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD (PART 2)

      The Holy Spirit speaking through prophet Jeremiah whose ministry was approximately 627-586 BC prophesied about the massacre of infants during Jesus’ incarnation Jer 31:15 NIV This is what the Lord says: "A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because her children are no more." This was confirmed in Matt 2:16 NIV  “When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi’
-FLIGHT TO EGYPT Prophesied by prophet Hosea (753-715BC) Hos 11:1 KJV  “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” Confirmed in Matt 2:14 NIV “ So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt,”
-AS A PROPHET Prophesied by prophet Moses (1407BC) Deut 18:15 KJV “ The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;” confirmed in  John 6:14-15 NIV “ After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world."
-REJECTION BY JEWS Prophesied by prophet Isaiah (700-681BC) Isa 53:3 KJV “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” Confirmed in John 1:11 KJV “ He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”
-HIS TRIUMPHAL ENTRY INTO JERUSALEM  Prophesied by prophet Zechariah (520-518BC) Zech 9:9 KJV “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Confirmed in  John 12:13-14 KJV “ Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.  And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,”
-SOLD FOR THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER Prophesied by prophet Zechariah (520-518BC) Zech 11:13 KJV “ And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord” Confirmed in  Matt 26:15 NIV  “and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.”  
 As you receive Jesus Christ as lord and savior and read this now receive grace for an undeniable life transforming encounter with God in Jesus name.

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. This type of reasoning turns us into enemy's of God.    The gospel is so much under attack by the activities of faithless religionists . They plan to replace the holy scripture with humanistic dogma.
