REASON TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD (PART 3)

-HE WAS SILENT WHEN ACCUSED, Prophesied by prophet Isaiah ( BC ) Isa 53:7 NIV
“He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.” Confirmed  in  Matt 26:62-63 NKJV “And the high priest arose and said to Him, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?"  But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him,"I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!"
-HE SUFFERED IN PLACE OF
HUMANITY Prophesied by prophet Isaiah (700-681BC) Isa 53:4-5 NKJV
“Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. “ Confirmed in Matt 8:16-17 NKJV  “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:"He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses."
-HIS HANDS AND FEET WERE PIERCED , prophesied by prophet David  (586BC)  Ps 22:16 NKJV  “ For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; “ Confirmed in John 20:27 NKJV “ Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing."
-HE WAS CRUCIFIED WITH SINNERS Prophesied by Isaiah 53:12 NKJV “Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.”
-HE WAS GIVEN VINEGAR AND GALL Prophesied by  prophet David  , Ps 69:21 NKJV “They also gave me gall for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.” Confirmed in John 19:29 KJV  “ Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.”
-HIS SIDE TO BE PIERCED Prophesied by prophet Zechariah (520-518BC) Zech 12:10 KJV “ And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
-SOLDIERS CAST LOT FOR HIS COAT Prophesied by Prophet David Ps 22:18 KJV  “They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.” Confirmed in Mark 15:24 NKJV “And when they crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take.”
-HIS RESURRECTION Ps 16:10 NKJV “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.”Confirmed in Matt 28:9 NKJV “And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.”
-HIS ASCENSION Prophesied by prophet David  Ps 68:18 NKJV “You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious,That the Lord God might dwell there” .confirmed in  Luke 24:50-51  NKJV “And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.  Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.”  These are historical facts and their accuracy is more than what could be considered a coincidence , therefore , Jesus is the Christ as confirmed by scriptures .
As you receive Jesus Christ as lord and savour receive grace to overturn the plans of the enemy against you in Jesus name.

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Hebrews 3:12 NLTBible  ' Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. This type of reasoning turns us into enemy's of God.    The gospel is so much under attack by the activities of faithless religionists . They plan to replace the holy scripture with humanistic dogma.
