BREAK THE YOKE OF STAGNATION

 1 Cor 12:1 AMP  “NOW ABOUT the spiritual gifts (the special endowments of supernatural energy), brethren, I do not want you to be misinformed.”
     The Holy Spirit’s indwelling in the born again Christian leads to the receiver being endued with spiritual gifts. These gifts serve as doors opener to the recipient.  A man’s gift opens doors and brings him before great men .These supernatural manifestations in the lives of believers is the reason why the New Testament church is so influential and through them life and vigor has been brought to the Body of Christ.
          There are many gifts listed in the scriptures (Romans 12:3-8; 1Cor. 12:8-10, 28-30; Ephesians 4:11) and they can be categorized into three major manifestations namely :
 1 ) Gifts Of communication ; those includes; A).Tongues (unlearned language(s).and B) Interpretation of tongues.
2) Gifts of Revelation: Namely, A) wise counsel B) word of knowledge, the word knowledge is the Greek word Gnosis which also means science. We are gifted to make scientific discoveries’
C) Discernment: this is the ability to make proper diagnosis of human and spiritual characters in operation. E) Prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose)
 3) Power gifts, namely A) Gift of faith ,the ability to believe in  the extraordinary acts of God B) Gifts of Healings and C) Working of Miracles.
      These gifts are meant for all believers in Jesus Christ .The Holy Spirit displays God’s power through each of us as a means of helping the entire church 1 Cor. 12:7.  The will of God is for His children to be imbued with His Power through the Holy Ghost that way we may  no longer become victims of the manipulations of false .and Satanic cults operating under .the  guise of so-called prayer houses. God’s will is for every human being  to be filled with the Holy  Spirit Eph. 5:18  Therefore he expects us to become desirous to be used by the Holy Spirit to manifest His supernatural abilities.

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
