“for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness , and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”. Rom 14:17
This teaching is not designed to encourage alcohol abuse nor condemn those who drink alcohol beverages but rather give a balanced view on the issue of drinking among Christians.

In conclusion, we are not to condemn those who drink alcohol because God doesn’t either, nor encourage its abuse as God frowns at such habits, but rather tell them to drink responsibly and think of avenues to win souls like Jesus did using what they like most as long as it agrees with truth. Philippians 4:5
