CONDITIONS FOR ENTERING GOD’S KINGDOM

Dan 2:44-45 TLB “During the reigns of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed; no one will ever conquer it. It will shatter all these kingdoms into nothingness, but it shall stand forever, indestructible.
   About 605 BC it was revealed to Prophet Daniel that the world would experience great political instability orchestrated by God to make way for the establishment of His kingdom on earth. We are witnesses to the various political crises in the nations of the earth which is as a result of man’s rebellion against God’s word.
    The establishment of the kingdom of God shall come with tremendous power; it shall be a physical event like the day of Pentecost Acts 2:1-4 “NIV says “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. “  1 Cor 4:20-21 NIV  “ For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”  
   Jesus’ preaching was centered on the kingdom of God and promoted the kingdom's agenda of the emancipation of man from Satan's stronghold and commands all believers to do likewise (Mk1:14, Luk4:43,16:16, Acts 1:3) and He spoke of conditions for entering God’s kingdom . Humility is an indispensable requirement Matt 5:3 TLB  says "Humble men are very fortunate!" he told them, "for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.” 
    One is expected to show sympathetic service to others to enter God's kingdom Matt 25:34-35 TLB says  "Then I, the King, shall say to those at my right, 'Come, blessed of my Father, into the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world. For I was hungry and you fed me; I was thirsty and you gave me water; I was a stranger and you invited me into your homes;”   In the course of promoting the kingdom one would be faced with much opposition from wicked men without knowledge of God’s word .Under such circumstance perseverance is an indispensable quality to enter the kingdom. God will deliver those who put their trust in Him and the wicked shall eventually be destroyed without remedy.
   Another condition for entering the kingdom is the regeneration of the human soul ; just as an analogue device is incompatible with digital signals likewise , an unregenerated soul cannot relate with spiritual truth ,they are foolishness to him or her.  John 3:3 TLB   “Jesus replied, "With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God.”  
   Endurance is an indispensable condition given that the world hates those who preach truth , the preaching of the gospel comes with much persecution . Acts 14:22-23 NLT “here they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.”   This requires working in faith and love, knowing God rewards those who labour for the kingdom (Ja.2:5)

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
