WARNINGS AGAINST PALLIATION

Mal 2:17 “You have wearied the Lord with your words. "How have we wearied him?" you ask.
You have wearied him by saying that all who do evil are good in the Lord's sight, and he is pleased with them. You have wearied him by asking, "Where is the God of justice?"
 Mark 4:18-19 KJV “ And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,  And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.”
     Merriam- Webster English dictionary defines palliation as “to reduce the violence of a disease; also to ease (symptoms)  without curing the underlying  disease .”  new age theology has crept into the church ;it teaches that truth is relative –This means ,sometimes evil could be good as long as the majority approves of it and it makes you happy . This doctrine is equivalent to saying 1+1 is not always 2 but something else. This is behind the confusion in defining moral boundaries in modern society with opinions swaying like a pendulum.  It is the result of rebellion against God’s word , the effect of  a reprobate mind.
     The scriptural perspective of truth is singular and objective .Jesus Christ said God’s word is truth (John17:17) it gives no room for another truth. Unfortunately, most modern evangelical methods seeks to create room for the promotion of the error of relativism  in the house of God, that’s why genuine repentance is seldom spoken of  .Jesus demonstrated his intolerance for sin when he told a woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more to avoid disaster   John 8:11 KJV says “ And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”   Sin kills and the only cure is genuine repentance out of a personal conviction of the inherent dangerous consequences of sin.
       Without this personal conviction there cannot be genuine repentance; if one thinks there is some benefit (material, emotional) in a sinful act , repentance will be far fetched . That does not mean one is not saved, he or she is but not from the consequences of resisting conscience. The human conscience serves to check our excesses ; we may deceive others but never the conscience.  Palliation is one way  by which we can create a group or community of like minded persons living in error . It gives one a sense of belonging and the opportunity to enjoy the temporary benefits of one’s errors. This is behind the twisting of the scriptures by false prophets to exploit many (2Pet2:1-22). The bible warns against palliation of sin because of its disastrous consequences: it brings the lord’s name into disrepute.
       Prov 17:15 says “ Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent both are detestable to the Lord.” Sometimes in other to score cheap political points we violate the scriptures which say in Prov 24:24 NIV “Whoever says to the guilty, "You are innocent" — peoples will curse him and nations denounce him. “ Palliation of sins is Satan’s strategy to discourage the uncompromisingly righteous, false prophets would be held accountable for discouraging the promotion of truth: God will stir a revolution against such prophets Ezek 13:22-23 says  “ You have discouraged the righteous with your lies, but I didn't want them to be sad. And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life, even though they continue in their sins.  Because of all this, you will no longer talk of seeing visions that you never saw, nor will you make predictions. For I will rescue my people from your grasp. ..” this is the  reason behind the attack against the clergy on social media:especially those who promote palliation for personal gains against God’s instructions (Rom.1:32) . God rewards those who seek him with all their heart; His approach may be slow yet it is the surest ( James 1:3-4).   As you receive Jesus Christ as lord and savior and read this now, receive grace to overcome temptation in Jesus name.

On investigation it was discovered the church suffered from a vicious cycle of evil family  patterns. They were not enjoying the fruits of the salvation experience . An example of evil family patterns is that of King David who defiled Uriah's wife ,murdered him and his son Absalom murdered his brother Amnon (2Sam13) dethroned him and defiled his concubines openly (2Samuel16). His son Amnon defiled his sister Tamar (2Sam.13) and so on yet David was the anointed of the Lord....

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH
