By Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi  2 Tim 2:15 KJV  “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.       The word ‘study’ is the Greek word ‘spoudazo’ it means: to use speed, to make effort, be prompt or earnest: do (give) diligence, be diligent , endeavour, labour. This implies that the studying of God’s word requires hard work, diligence and promptness. It requires the analysis of every word individually and it’s grammatical structure, biographical illustrations, historicity of each statement, authentication of authorship of each book, topical analysis and its relevance to present day life.  This is what it means to rightly dividing the word of truth. It is during this process that power is released to change our circumstance.           The bible is the revelation of the will of God in relation to man and the universe. BUILDING STRONGER TIES  By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi  Luke 12:13 AMP "Someone from the crowd said to Him, Master, order my brother to divide the inheritance and share it with me. "   This was the situation between the two  brothers in Luke 12.13,  they had received an inheritance from their father with one probably having a larger share than the other. It is common for parents to will their properties based on sentimental values attached to each child. But it is not so with God, the scriptures says we are joint-heirs with Christ.  It was the  selfish disposition by one of the brother’s that informed the request by the other for the sharing of the inheritance.Jesus knew that conceding to the request of being an arbiter between the brothers would be an endorsement of self-centeredness . This therefore, informed His reply to that request "And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy lon
