By. Michael Benson Ajayi Mark 8:24-26 NKJV  “ And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.         Jesus ’  healing methods were a reflection of God ’ s love for us, they were very unconventional: He laid hands, prophesied and in this case used saliva therapy .He did not operate by any religious model or template. Each miracle was unique in nature and with a message ; the scripture says Jesus took the blind man out of town and spat on his eyes after which he asked to know if he could see, it took two treatments before the desired result was achieved. This is contrary to what is observed in many religious miracle arenas  were people are humiliated openly in the public domain and made a spectacle of with digital theater effects for the world's media ;  Jesus did all he could do to maintain the dignity of those he prayed for.        Th

He gave us a new commandment (John13:34) haven fulfilled the Old Testament; this commandment is centered on love for one’s neighbor as yourself(Gal.5:14) .This is contrary to what religion preaches, Matt 5:38-46  NKJV Says "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'   But I tell you not to resist an evil person. Michael Benson Ajayi Ex 3:20-22 NKJV  “ And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed. ”               The word  ‘ favour ’  used in this scripture is the Hebrew word  ‘ chen ’  and it means graciousness, kindness, beauty, pleasant, precious. Therefore, whenever a person is operating under divine favour he or she becomes a recipient of extraordinary goodwill .           In the New Testament,  ‘ favour ’  is used interchangeably with the word  ‘ grace ’ .  It is our insurance policy against failure or defeat in our mission to the spread the gospel . It is the covenant right of every believer in Christ however, not all believers in Christ work in divine favour as they ought to . The scriptures say in James NKJV 4:6 “ But  He gives more  grace. Instead, you have blessed them three times.  Now get out of here! Go back home! I promised to reward you richly, but the Lord has kept you from your reward."  Balaam told Balak, "Don't you remember what I told your messengers? I said, 'Even if Balak were to give me his palace filled with silver and gold, I would be powerless to do anything against the will of the Lord.' I told you that I could say only what the Lord says! “       Prophet Balaam like every servant of the lord had his weaknesses, there is no servant of the lord who has not erred (Ecc.7:20) it is what makes the mercy of God indispensable to our existence. But in this case Balaam had a choice to turn against God and be rich beyond his wildest dream or remain with the truth and face the consequences.  He chose  the latter

This is as a result of the regeneration of our spirit man by the Holy Spirit . He removes the appetite for sin replacing it with a hunger for righteousness. It is this thirst for righteousness that gives the Christian a reason to live . The lord promises satisfaction to those who thirst after righteousness.         Our thirst for righteousness is contrary to the world’s crave for sin and results in isolation , rejection , being excluded from the company or activities of others . Michael Benson Ajayi          Whenever the president of Nigeria delivers a national broadcast on her independence day , it is usually a recorded speech that is played to the public on radio and television. The recording is as authentic as the president delivering the speech directly and live. The recorded speech is an expression of the mind of the president on pertinent issues.      Let’s take it a step further , imagine if an android    robot made in the exact image of the president with the capacity to autonomously act but still with the mind of the president and programmed to speak to the citizens .
