YOUR SAFETY IS IN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Ezek 14:13-16 KJV “ Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God. If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.”
    The word ‘righteousness’ as used in this text is the Hebrew word  ‘tsedaqah’ it  means; rightness rectitude, justice, virtue prosperity. It is prosperity derived from being in the right place, at the right time, with the right people and doing the right thing. Under the New Testament, it is referred to as being led by the spirit of God (Rom.8:14). Those led by the spirit of God are sons of God (John3:16) , they have made a commitment to live the Christ-like life under the influence of the Spirit behind the inspired Word of God . True Christianity is not a religion but a real experience where God expresses Himself through willing human vessels. It is no longer you who lives but Christ living and expressing himself through you. This is the true life ;devoid of fear and damnation. Noah, Daniel, and Job experienced this as demonstrated by their willingness to die for their righteous convictions.  It is that conviction that is referred to as ‘their righteousness’.
       This is what separates spirit –led Christians from the religiously inclined and ceremonial Christians.  Ceremonial Christians live to promote the world’s corrupt system. This removes a person from God’s protective cover and exposes him or her to disaster, Romans 8:12-14NLT says “Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.  For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.” Before disaster strikes , the spirit of God often sends warning signals to all (believers and non believers ) and only  those who have trained their senses to receive these signals are able to avert them. Rom 8:5-7 “ Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.  So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” The pursuit of righteous virtue is personal and not transferable. A father’s righteousness does not automatically make his children righteous neither does a wife’s righteousness makes her husband righteous. We are individually accountable to God. 
      The world is becoming more dangerous and according to biblical prophesies it is just the beginning of calamities that shall befall humanity because of our sin against God . Safety can only be guaranteed by the lord and it is in our place to condition our spirit, soul and body to be sensitive to God’s warning signals. Daniel was a politician exposed to enormous wealth and yet was able to develop his prophetic gifts likewise Job and Noah, if they were here today they would probably be chief executive officers of fortune 500 companies. If these men could create  time to develop themselves, we sure can.We should never be too busy to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, our safety depends on this virtue. 
Prayer :Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and  do not allow me find myself in a place prone to disaster , no matter how much I try ,may your angels prevent me and my family and keep us in safe hands I pray in Jesus' name .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
