POSITION YOURSELF TO RECEIVE A MIRACLE FROM GOD

Mark 6:39-40 KJV  “And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.”
        The supernatural multiplication of two pieces of fish and five loaves of bread to feed five thousand persons with twelve baskets full of leftover is one of the most extraordinary events of Jesus' ministry.Each miracle was a subliminal expression of the message of grace .
        It was traditional for Jesus to teach lengthy sermons with  followers  cutting across the various strata of society; He had politicians, businessmen , the military , women, children, technocrats, the clergy and laymen in attendance and on this occasion they were hungry and feeding became a problem.
          The challenge before the disciples was not that of insufficient funds to buy food; judging from the disciples’ statement in Mark 6:35 KJV “..his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:” and vs 37 says “Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?”They needed permission to use available funds from His purse, the question was not “where shall we find two hundred penny?” Prior to the inception of His ministry  Jesus was active in the carpentry business for over two decades (Mark6:3) and also had financial partners (luke8:2) who provided for His day to day need as it was the tradition of devotees to provide for  messengers of God as a demonstration of love and faith (2Kings4:42-44). The scriptures says Jesus was rich (2Cor8:9) . The disciples had the funds but distance and time were the issue at stake.
          The scriptures say in Mark 6:39 KJV “And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.” The word command is the Greek word ‘epitasso’ which means to arrange upon, order, charge. They were instructed to sit in a specific spiritual order in ‘companies’ as in a symposium and in rows of fifty and hundreds. The number '50' is the spiritual number for celebrations, jubilee and Pentecost and the number 100 is the spiritual number for God’s chosen people( Matt18:12) and the number for fullness of harvest (Mark4:20) . These persons had to be spiritually positioned to receive from God.
              The blessings of God is positional , through scriptures we discover that each person  that received a miracle from God had to follow specific instructions in order to activate faith without which it is impossible to please God. In this case the crowd ,regardless of their status in society had to follow instructions as handed down from Jesus through His disciples. This was a test of humility which is essential for promotion (James4:10)they understood the importance of divine authority and where rewarded with abundance. None was allowed to receive food directly from Jesus but through His token or symbol of authority. God desires order in His church (1Cor.14.40,Titus1:5) and He appoints a token of authority to each person through whom we learn to Honour Him for our edification (Eph 4:11-12). It is one’s understanding of the principles of divine authority that activates the power for the miraculous (Matt8:5-13) Dishonour for messengers of God hinders prayers from being answered ,we should avoid the company of persons who delight in mocking teachers of the gospel ,there presence in our lives gives Satan access to wreck havoc in our businesses,health marriages and finances.
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace for strategic positioning for divine elevation in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
