HOW TO SECURE A RELATIONSHIP AGAINST FAILURE

 Isaiah 60:3-4 NKJV “The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. "Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you;”
             Jesus said we are the light of the world and salt of the earth Matt5:13-14. Light reveals the beauty of a thing : salt is a seasoner and preserver : bringing out the essence of creation .The second verse of Isaiah 60 says “darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;” this darkness is the confusion and chaos in the world that is as a result of the lack of unconditional  love .The world practices a conditional type of love ; this is deficient in so many ways because sometimes conditions are altered beyond our control resulting in a lack of commitment in relationships. It is easy to be loved as long as you meet needs but as soon as you are incapacitated you are hated by those who once loved you. 
            It is the lack of commitment that is behind the increased rate of conflicts globally . It requires God’s kind of faith to overcome the fear of failure which is the bane of our inability to totally commit to a relationship. We have been taught that love is all that is needed to sustain a relationship but that is far from the truth, persons who break- up sometimes still have love for each other yet they find it hard living together; we need faith in God and in each other in order to live in harmony.  This faith is born out of an understanding of the word of God. 
      The home built on love alone cannot stand the test of time because the human experience of love is temporal and gives no room for discipline (Heb 12:6-11) opening the door to abuse, exploitation and wastage ; this is the reason why more lives are lost yearly because of love than any other cause in the world ; as a result we are often suspicious of those who truly love us.
        The scriptures say in Prov 24:3-4 NKJV “Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” There are three major ingredients needed to sustain a home, they are 1) wisdom 2) understanding and 3) knowledge and they are obtained through God’s word. Compassion is the reward of a life of wisdom, knowledge and understanding and the pursuit of love above these indispensable ingredients exposes a person to emotional predators. Practicing love without these three qualities is an invitation to anarchy . To get it right in a relationship you must be a student of God's word ;hatred for sound doctrine exposes relationships to negative influence .     
               The unconditional love of God is shared through the heart of God’s people and gives illumination in this dark world. This type of love is logical and works with the human conscience; it is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. In summary, it says “If you love someone, you will be loyal to him or her no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him or her, always expects the best of him or her, and always stand your ground in defending him or her”(TLB  1 Cor 13:4-7) . These are the qualities the scriptures in Isaiah 60:3-4 says attracts the world to the Church.
         Modern church growth techniques involves using marketing strategies used by the world’s system in attracting new church members. It is not based on true love and leads to emotional and physical poverty ;it is the reason why religious folks tend to be very proud, suffer emotional depression  and selfish in relationships. Let the world see the light of love through you that your heavenly Father may be glorified (Matt5:16).
    Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and  receive grace and increasing love and faith for extraordinary breakthroughs in my family in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
