KEY TO FREEDOM FROM ANXIETY

The Jews were miraculously fed with manna while in no-man's land during their exodus from Egypt to the promised land .In Exodus 16 Moses commanded them to gather twice as much manna on the sixth day because there would be no gathering on the seventh day. This was a prelude to the observance of the seventh day as a Sabbath day in the ten commandments given to Moses on Mt. Sinai on the two tablets of stone (Ex. 20:8-11). The Sabbath day was a memorial of the day of rest on the seventh day of creation. Man and animals had a day to rest during the week according to Exodus 23:12, our minds and bodies need regular rest for efficiency.Under the new testament , we are not condemned by God for not observing ...
