By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi Mark9:24 "And straightway the father of  the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine  unbelief."     Faith is our total reliance on God : without it, we cannot gain access to God's provisions.  The Christian life is impossible without faith.  Jesus attributed the miracles which  took place during His earthly ministry to the faith of the recipients (Mt.9:2,22,29,Mk5:24,lk7:50) He often said to the healed that 'your faith has made you whole'. He did not say the powerful apostle, Rev, pastor, evangelists and  prophet has made you whole . He attributed it to faith only.             God has given us all that we need in life for godliness and sustenance (2Pet.1:3 ). He is not planning to give but has already given all that we need. It  is possible for the character of a person to be known before he or she is born through the words that were spoken and meditated upon prior to conception.  Jesus Christ  is the word of God metamorphosed into a human body by the word spoken and meditated upon by Mary (Luke 1:31-38)        The scriptures says in Jeremiah 1: 5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;  and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and  I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." meaning we all existed in a spiritual  word format  well known by God before we were conceived in our mother's wombs. The word 'become' is the Greek word 'ginomai' which means: to arise, be assembled, fall, be finished, follow, be found, be fulfilled , grow,be made, be performed,  seem, be showed. One of the challenges in the teaching of the gospel is that of teaching faith in line with logic .     The misappropriation of knowledge by neglecting common sense in teaching the gospel is detrimental to spirituality resulting in some persons giving up on the faith .        Faith is logical , emotional , volitional and intelligent . That means faith and science must work in harmony . Science deals with logic or common sense . Michael Benson Ajayi       The biblical records of creation forms the bases for the gospel and during His earthly ministry Jesus made ample reference to them ( John 5:46,47,Matthew 19:4,5) . The universe was created and is sustained by God’s spoken word (Hebrews 1:3,11:3,Ps.33:6,Col.1:17)        God owns and rules the universe and can do whatever He desires  (Psalm 135:5-7) He is sovereign.The scientific ' law of cause and effect ' says to every effect there is a cause. Logic does not allow for multiple causes to an effect just as two women cannot be pregnant with the same baby .The universe is the effect of God's creation and God is the cause therefore He cannot be created.  There is no other God above Him and none besides Him (psalm 95:3, Jer.10:11-13) therefore He demands and deserves reverence from His creations psalm148:5,Isaiah 48:12-13 because He has rights of ownership (Psalm 50:10-12) . Michael Benson Ajayi.       1Cor.6: 12 "  "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient:  all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power  of any."           This scripture underscores the degree of immunity a child of God enjoys under the dispensation of grace through Jesus Christ. This became necessary because of man's inability to fulfill the laws of Moses(Exo.24:12), therefore, forgiveness was needed through blood sacrifice that justice may be satisfied and man made eternally free from the condemnation of the laws of Moses . The law required atonement for sins through blood sacrifice (lev.4:1-4,17:11, Hebrew9:22) but this was not a sufficient cure for sin because animal sacrifice though repeatedly executed could not take away sins. Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi Matt 24:12 "And because iniquity  shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.".      As we approach the end of the human age and the second coming of Christ, the world shall experience an increase in demonic activities prominent among which shall be the greatest fall amongst Christians because of the enemy's intrusion into the church. The fall is known as the apostasy which means disloyalty.  Jesus predicted that disloyalty shall be a common trend in the last days.           Our worship determines our commitment to one another therefore,  disloyalty to Christ is the foundation of one's disloyalty to one's  spouse, family or community .     By Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi 1 Tim 2:1-2 KJV “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”  Prayer is the communication between God -creator  and the created . It exist in the following forms : (1)  supplication (Greek:  deomai ) which means  to beg (as binding oneself), when making a supplication on behalf of a person ,you present yourself as part of the guilty party  while using the pronoun ‘we’ and ‘us’.(2)  prayer  (Greek: proseuche) which means to worship in the spirit while speaking in tongues (3)   intercession  (Greek:enteuxis) which means  an interview while making supplication on behalf of a guilty party :in this case prayers are made on behalf of a person other than oneself  (4) Giving of thanks (Greek: eucharistia) which means gratitude while actively using a grateful language
