YOU ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE ADVERSARY

  "So one night the king of Aram sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city. When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha. “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord , open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire." 2 Kings 6:14‭-‬17 NLT

        The Aramean king had sent troops to arrest Elisha for being instrumental to his failure in his military campaign against Israel . They surrounded the location were Elisha was and the Lord sent warrior angels to deliver Elisha . For a moment the situation seemed  hopeless in the eyes of the carnally minded .

    Eventually the lord gave Prophet Elisha victory in an extraordinary manner , the Bible says " As the Aramean army advanced toward him, Elisha prayed, “O Lord , please make them blind.” So the Lord struck them with blindness as Elisha had asked." 2 Kings 6:18 NLT

  They fell into the trap of the king of Israel .The Lord's warrior angels are always available to fight on behalf of God's servants.

  We are never disadvantaged for there are more for us and with us than with the adversaries (2Chron32:7,8,21)

 You are more powerful than your adversaries , it is extremely dangerous for anyone to attempt to spiritually attack a born again Christian who has the consciousness of the Holy Spirit and awareness of angelic presence . 

   The Bible says " But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world." 1 John 4:4 NLT and " No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you ...I will not fail you or abandon you." Joshua 1:5 NLT

   Your victory is not limited by the few persons who support you  . The Bible says “Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans, ."..for nothing can hinder the Lord . He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!”1 Samuel 14:6 NLT

   Do not be intimidated by the noise from the adversary, and never underestimate the grace of God upon you . Size does not matter as a matter of fact the smaller you are in the eyes of men, the more powerful you are . The Bible says  “O Lord , no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord , you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!”2 Chronicles 14:11 NLT

Prayer : : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome the adversary in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
