INCOMPARABLE GLORY

  " He found them in a desert land, in an empty, howling wasteland. He surrounded them and watched over them; he guarded them as he would guard his own eyes. Like an eagle that rouses her chicks and hovers over her young, so he spread his wings to take them up and carried them safely on his pinions. The Lord alone guided them; they followed no foreign gods." Deuteronomy 32:10‭-‬12 NLT

  "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 NLT

    Believers in Jesus Christ are likened to eagles . Their spiritual upbringing is likened to the high risk pattern by which eaglets are raised by their mothers. The eagle is unique for its high altitude dwelling places and flight against stormy winds. The storms help in building muscles to lift heavier loads and to remove unwanted feathers. God uses the storms of life to remove unwanted appendages and  relationships from his people .

     Between ten to twelve weeks , eaglets start learning to fly and this is facilitated by the adult depriving them of food .  This  encourages  them to fly to a nearby perch to get their meal, this is what the lord does to believers to enable us grow spiritually we have to move from our comfort zone and work for food . Usually, no coaxing is required for the maiden flights : the eaglets are all too anxious to test their wings and develop flying skills .  

Without discomfort the believer cannot grow . We need tests and trials to be wise (Psalm 119:71 ).We should face life's storms with great joy because the outcome is glorious . 

 The bible says " Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later." Romans 8:18 NLT and " And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28 NLT 

    The devil would have us believe the wicked are having a better time . The contrary is the case .The ungodly appear to prosper for a while , while the righteous suffer : but in reality the Lord is leading us in the better way . (Read all of Psalm 73 on the prosperity of the wicked)  They walk a slippery path full of misery, fear and uncertainties ( Rev.3:17) The Bible says  "Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny."Psalms 73:23‭-‬24 NLT. 

   You have a glorious destiny that surpasses the highest level of glory the world has to offer. The bible says " I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.  He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:3‭-‬4 NLT

  Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to make consistent progress regardless of the storms of life .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
