YOU SHALL BE COMFORTED

'And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others."2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT

   Life is unpredictable and beyond human control  . Nobody can truly tell what the next day will be like in its entirety . 

   God is in absolute control of every activity to the smallest detail in the universe . Some of the brightest scientists allude to the unpredictability of reality . The great physicist Richard Feynman  “I think I can safely say that nobody  understands quantum mechanics.”  Quantum mechanics is the branch of physics that seeks to understand the behaviour of matter at sub atomic level . Great physicists such as Albert Einstein believed in the predictability of matter , this would have proven the non existence of an all-knowing and all powerful   God. But Einstein was proven wrong by the Danish physicist Niels Bohr, leading to the conclusion that  'A particle has no definite position until we measure it, its precise location neither here nor there but a tangle of probabilities.' ( Anjana Ahuja , Financial times April5,2019) 

     This theory on realism agrees with the scriptures " Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the Lord ’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11:33‭-‬36 NLT

  Discomfort often emanates from an attempt to understand the complexities of human existence . It is also as a result of self-righteousness. That's why many say 'why should this happen to me? ' . The reality of life is that sometimes, good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good and other times bad things happen to bad people and good things to good people . 

  Regardless of your circumstance , it is important to know that God is the creator of the human emotions, the feelings we have for things are by his ability . He has the ability to comfort our hearts in the face or crisis . 

   The Bible says " All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." 2 Cor1:3‭-‬4 NLT The word 'comfort' is the Greek word 'paraklēsis' it means ,encouragement , solace, refreshment, consolation , hortation .

   You can be comfortable despite the crisis . We should always ask for the Lord's comfort in trying times and be rest assured that all things work together for our good (Rom8:28) . He is our comforter .

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for overwhelming peace in the face of crisis .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
