THE COVENANT OF MERCY

Luke 1:72-75 KJV  “To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
2 Sam 7:13-16  AMP “He shall build a house for My Name [and My Presence], and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.  I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. When he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men.  But My mercy and loving-kindness shall not depart from him, as I took [them] from Saul, whom I took away from before you.  And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before you; your throne shall be established forever.”  
       The scriptures says in  Matt 20:30 NKJV “…. two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!" verse 34 “So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.”   These men received a revelation about who Jesus Christ was and it was this revelation that led to their healing , they had heard so much about him and figured he fitted into the promise made to  Abraham  and revealed to David  in 2 Samuel 7 :13 -16 . God had promised Abraham that nations shall be blessed through him.
     He promised in Luke 1:72-75 that humanity will partake in God’s holiness and righteousness through a holy covenant made to Abraham eternally.  This was reiterated by prophet Nathan’s prophesy to King David : a descendant of Prophet Abraham  in 2 Samuel 7:13-16 in which he was promised a son , whose father shall be the most High God whose throne shall be for ever . This could not be referring to a son born of flesh and blood but Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ was not an ordinary human being, he was 100% God and 100% man so that man could better relate with God .
     The covenant of God’s mercy promises the gift of salvation and righteousness to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as lord and savior . This salvation is all encompassing – deliverance from eternal condemnations, healing, recovery and prosperity. This was the revelation those blind men had and were healed by their faith. With this revelation we can receive deliverance from sicknesses and diseases and find help in the time of need .
Prayer: Heavenly forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and savior and receive the Holy Spirit and healing and restoration in Jesus name .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
