UNFORGIVENESS HINDERS PROSPERITY

    The idea that a Christian cannot lose their salvation is open to debate . The scriptures teaches that salvation is by grace through faith by the process of substitutionary atonement were one person takes the punishment for the sins of another (Isaiah 53;10)  . This process is conditioned on one's acceptance of the provisions for salvation .
  One of such conditions for salvation is forgiveness of those who have offended us , this is not hard to do if one is filled and led by the Holy Spirit . There is no room for hatred in the heart of a born again Christian. Unforgiveness is Satan's strategy to keep many persons out of heaven. Here are Scriptures revealing God's position against unforgiveness .

"When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ’s authority for your benefit, "2 Corinthians 2:10 NLT

"and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.  But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6:12‭, ‬14‭-‬15 NLT
"Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many."
Hebrews 12:15 NLT Unforgiveness produces a corrupt society and increases failure in marriages.

"But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. ” Mark 11:25 NLT
"Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others." Colossians 3:13 NLT
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:31‭-‬32 NLT
"Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord . Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good."
Romans 12:17‭, ‬19‭-‬21 NLT Forgiving a person requires handing the matter to the God of vengeance. The wicked will not go unpunished ( Psalm 94:1-3,23) 
  We should avoid getting into arguments that could result in bitterness by simply working away. Unforgiveness results in self imprisonment and demonic manipulations ,it does more damage to the offended party than the offender. We cannot give our best to God and our spouse while living in unforgiveness .
Prayer :  Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as my lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and grace for emotional healing and forgiveness of those who have offended me .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
