RECEIVE OPEN DOORS FOR TOTAL RECOVERY

Matt 8:8 KJV “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.”
        This soldier understood the power behind spoken words and in his line of work, word is bond and it also meant the difference between life and death. He had witnessed Jesus taking charge over situations by the spoken ‘word’ and was convinced that as long as he brought himself under Jesus’ authority, he’s wouldn’t be any different. The military has specific code name for every operation. Therefore, it is not unusual to hear the same word having different meanings in tactical warfare and it will require an acquaintance with a brigade commander, for one to know the meaning of a given command. This was why this soldier sought to establish a relationship with Jesus. Eventually, his servant was healed by the power of the spoken word.
              In another occasion, Jesus used the word ‘Ephphatha’ to pray for a deaf and dumb man in Mark 7:34 literally meaning ‘be opened’ but when looked at from its origin ,  it is the Aramaic word ‘Pathach’ which means  to open wide ; specifically, to loosen, begin, plough, carve, appear, break forth, draw out, let go free, loose ,un-gird, unstop, have vent , these were the instructions contained in that singular word  that led to the healing of the deaf and dumb in an instant: it was the meaning behind the spoken word that determined what was accomplished.
               The word of God has tremendous power when spoken with understanding (psalm107:20,psalm147:18) ; very often we speak the word literally without depth of knowledge and understanding and are surprised when we do not achieve the desired result. It takes a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit to receive the true meaning of the written word of God in the Holy Scriptures (John16:13)The universe is sustained by the power in the word of God right from the moment He spoke it into existence. Likewise our lives are framed by the spoken word of God just as a picture frame holds a picture in place (Heb11:3). Whenever you declare that ‘by His stripes we are healed’(1Peter 2:24) over your ailing body, the molecules in your body resonate in line with the healing frequency of the word and translates into divine health.  
                 God cannot act contrary to the dictates of His word; what this means is that the word of God is supreme. The scriptures say in Ps 105:19-21 KJV “Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance” Joseph was a common prisoner in Egypt until he came to an  understanding of  his purpose in Egypt through God’s word and this revelation propelled him to occupy the exalted position of prime minister in Egypt. The chains of bondage are automatically broken as soon as we receive the word into our hearts with understanding. Satan will do anything possible to distract you from understanding God’s word and that’s why God gives us teachers and we are expected to honour them (1Thes.5:12) and encourage their work in our lives (Ga 6:6) .
    Understanding and speaking God’s word in every situation in  our lives is the key to unlocking the door of healing and ever increasing testimonies of God’s goodness;  this should be part of our daily prayer topic (Col1:9-10). 
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive illumination and healing now in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
