THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SEVENTEENTH DAY OF THE SEVENTH MONTH

Gen 8:4 KJV  “And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.”
         Today is the seventeenth day of the seventh month and its significance can be traced to an event  recorded in the bible  : the number 17 symbolizes "the overcoming the enemy of our soul " and " victory over darkness ." God ‘s elect escaped the consequences of  the sins of rebellion: the flood and rain  on the 17th of the second Hebrew month.
         Noah's ark and its eight passengers rested on the mountains of Ararat on the 17th of the seventh month .Modern day Mount Ararat is a snow-capped and dormant compound volcano in the extreme east of Turkey . The etymology of the word  ‘Ararat’ is a cluster of words which means  "...thou hast precipitated the journey in front of me" simply put “the curse is broken”. (BDB Theological dictionary )
     God would wants you to know that today marks the beginning of rest from the turbulence from previous years . He will confirm your deliverance through extraordinary breakthroughs. You shall be positioned where your gifts will be better appreciated and rewarded. You shall be honoured by those who once put you to shame, The curse of stagnation and confusion is broken.Your hearts shall overflow with the wine of joy .  
   All you need do is hold firm on His word ,seek wisdom and understanding . His promises never fails , has He said a thing and it did not come to pass? So shall it be , within this season He shall disclose the foundations of the priests that have served His precious sheep with polluted wine, their diadem shall be thrown down  and glory taken away  and there shall be a great shaking among the mountains and pillars .And the remnant, those who have waited for the consolation of the lord shall rejoice in their rewards; for the light of His countenance shall be seen upon His jewels .they that fear the lord shall be comforted and He shall be strength to them that turn the battle to the gates.
     You are come to the end of a journey  with the lord leading you on through the turbulent waters  and the beginning of another into season of rest  , the appointed times of your consolation and increase is near because the curse is broken  says the lord.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
