8:1 KJV “Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? :Psalm 8: 22-24 “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his
way, before his works of old. I was set
up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were
no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with
water. 32 “Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they
that keep my ways.” 35-36 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain
favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all
they that hate me love death.
This
is a messianic scripture that speaks of the person-hood of the wisdom of
God, verse 24 says “the lord possessed
me in the beginning of His way” the clause ‘possessed
me’ is the Hebrew word ‘qanah’ which means to erect , ordain or inaugurate .
Verse 23 says “ I was set up from everlasting” the phrase I was
set up’ is the Hebrew word ‘nacak’which
means to anoint king . Therefore , the identity of the person-hood of the wisdom
of God is that which depicts royalty . The
next question would be: of what degree? The answer is in Chapter 4:7 says “wisdom is supreme .” .Therefore ,
the person-hood of God’s wisdom is in equal status with God . God is supreme authority.
It is against this backdrop that Proverbs 8:35-36 concludes that salvation is
in acknowledging of the divinity of the wisdom of God and those who hate the person-hood of the wisdom of God are in danger of damnation (1John4:3). In the new
testament , Jesus Christ is revealed as the Truth ,Word and wisdom
of God (John17:17, Luke
11:49,1Cor:1:24,30) . It was He who created the universe in fulfillment of God’s
purpose of raising a family . that’s why proverbs 8:36 calls those who believe
in the person-hood of wisdom children of God.
John 1;12 says for as ,many that believe in the person-hood of God (Christ) he
gave the power to become sons of God. This is the purpose of creation . He created
the universe for His pleasure and brought everything into existence by His spoken
word. Jesus Christ is the embodiment of God’s word (John1:1).The word of God
proceeded out of God just as the sun rays and ultraviolet energy proceeds out
of the sun. Sun-rays, ultraviolet energy and the sun form the solar system.
They are three interdependent and yet unique components of the same thing and
non is inferior to the other: they continually influence and inter-phase with
each other, likewise, the Word (Jesus Christ), the Spirit( Holy Ghost) and the
Father.
Jesus Christ’ body was created to
fulfill prophesy in (Gen3:15) which says that the woman’s seed shall bruise
Satan (naturally, women do not produce seeds) as part of God’s plan of
redemption. God put His Word (seed) into Mary’s womb and it metamorphosed into
a physical body full of the Holy Ghost. God and His word are inseparable; they
work as one .In Jn10:30, Jesus proclaimed His oneness with the Father and in
His statements after this; He says that the Father is in Him and He is in the
Father, making clear His claim to deity (John3:13). The Jews tried to stone Him
because of His claim to deity they forgot that the scriptures, spoke of men
with divine authority as gods (Ex; 7:1; 4:16,22:28;Ps 82:1) the scriptures
clearly states Christ is God (Isa.
9:6).He fulfilled all that was prophesied in that scripture by the prophet
Isaiah. The born again believer has been endued with extraordinary ability and
authority because we have our Spirits joined with Christ’s as administrators of
God’s estate.
As
