YOUR INDISPENSABLE PARTNER : THE HOLY SPIRIT (THE ANOINTER AND THE ANOINTING)

Who is THE HOLY SPIRIT? The Holy Spirit is probably the least recognized in the Godhead ; he is the most misrepresented and thus misunderstood in the studies about divinity.
             We are made in the image of God and tripartite in nature Spirit, Soul, Body (1st Thessalonians 5:23). God exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these function as one person simply known as the Godhead. The divinity is a mystery. 
              So there are three witnesses in heaven the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, “and these three are one.” 1st John 5:7 Amp. Definition based on character in this case is analogous of water which when boiled produces steam, and when frozen forms ice: different state but the same object. So we have water the steam, water the ice and water the liquid: same water but in three different physical states. If we can believe this we should be able to believe God as the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
The bible calls Him God : “why had Satan filled thy heart to lie to the holy spirit?..... thy hast not lied unto men but unto God”(Acts 5:3-4) and possesses the characteristic that God alone has.
He has an eternal nature : “how much more then will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleansed our consciences from acts that leads to death, so that we may serve the living God” Heb. 9:14.
He is All- Present : Capable of being everywhere at one time (like a mobile telephone network doing so many things such as sending and receiving calls, emails, fax, pictures etc in different places at the same time and yet invisible but tangible and if you have the right sensing devices you can detect it and so likewise if your spiritually insensitive, you cannot sense the activities of the holy spirit as it is with so many persons today.) King David said “Where can I go from your spirit? Why can I go from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there: if I make my bed in the depths, you are there if I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” Ps. 139:7-10.
He is All- Knowing : He knows all things (Good, Bad, Ugly) but God has revealed it to us by his spirit. The Spirit searches all things even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thought of man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thought of God except the spirit of God. 1 Cor 2:`10-11 NIV.
He is All-Powerful : He can do anything .He is giving you understanding as you read this now.  He made a virgin get pregnant without having sexual relations with a man and when the virgin was told by the lord’s angel ‘you will be with child and give birth to a son,…. She asked: How will this be since am a virgin? And the angel answered the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the most high will over-shadow you”. Luke 1:31-35. NIV. He is both the anointer and the anointing . He is the Comforter (John 14 :16), Helper  (Romans 8 : 26)  Intercessor (Romans 8: 26 ),  Advocate ( Mark 13 :11),  Counselor (John 14: 26) and Strength giver ( Romans 8: 11 , Judges 16:1-40)  We receive miracle working power when we receive the Holy Ghost into our hearts Acts 1:8 and with Him there is no limit to what we can achieve.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
