AVOID FABLES: THEY ARE A HINDRANCE TO PROSPERITY ( PART 2)

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi
Titus 1:14-15 KJV“ Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
      From the above scripture, a person can become defiled by accepting fables and such persons tend to see evil in everything. A defiled person is overwhelmed with a demon and sin consciousness;they are strangers to the language of love and grace, they rather embrace the old testament doctrine of condemnation.
        The usage of the Torah or laws of Moses as a tool in teaching fables is one way they had gained acceptance in the minds of many. Promoters of fables claim that some things are in themselves unclean and able to hinder a person’s blessing especially eating certain foods {even in a dream} is seen as a religious faux pas with grave consequences. This is far from true and Jesus spoke against this during his earthly mission. He said in  KJV  Mark 7:18-23 “…whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;… Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? By this no food substance or beverage consumed can disqualify a person from being blessed or make a person unholy.
     Food cannot make a person bad , rather, it is what is contained in the heart and expressed in words that does the damage to a person’s life . Most of the so-called deliverance cases are nothing but the aftermath of ungodly character that can be changed through good bible -based mentoring. Many Christians tend to live without being accountable to anyone and that gives Satan the advantage over their lives. 1 John 5:18 KJV says “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” It is like an unmarried person without accountability to a pastor seeking to get married to a God-fearing spouse, this in itself is a fable. Such persons are easily carried away by fables and are never stable. God disallows the free-spirit theology in His Church (Rom 13:1-3)
          Common  fables in the modern prophetic churches and scriptures that prove them as false include :
(1)   Spiritual wife or husband ( debunked by 2 Corinthians 11:2, 1Cor 6:7,1Cor 12:13)
(2)   Curse of the first –born ( Debunked by john1:12.Rom 8:33-39,2cor. 5:17, 2Pet.1:3,, Gal.3:13 , Rom 8:1-3)
(3)   Eating in the dream  {Debunked by Mark 7:18=23,Apostle Peter was commanded to eat creeping things (snake, snail etc) by Jesus in Acts 10:10-16}
(4)   Ancestral curse ( Debunked by Gal 3:13, 2Kings14:6, Ezek 18:2, 19-20)
5) Swimming in the dream ( Ezek 47:3-8, Isaiah 43:2, )  these and more from cobwebs , to cats , rats etc.
Very often the laws of Moses are used to justify these myths (1Timothy 1:4-10) even when the scriptures says Jesus is the end of the law to them who belief by faith (Rom.10:4) . We are admonished to reject such theology.  Your blessing is unstoppable; it is sealed and settled in Jesus Christ.
