HOW TO INCREASE YOUR FAITH FOR BREAKTHROUGHS

Matthew 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this  mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."Matt 17:9-20; Matt 9:9-27; Lu 9:37-42
        The disciples' unbelief in this instance was not a disbelief in God's existence or power to give salvation , but rather a human kind of disbelief ; a product of an insensitive heart that yielded more to factual or circumstantial  evidence than to what it believed in God's word. Just as it takes a little spark to set a whole forest ablaze ,likewise only a very small amount  of faith -mustard seed -is sufficient to remove a mountain, if no unbelief is  present to hinder it.Therefore,the challenge , the Christian faces is not that of having more faith but overcoming unbelief. 
         Unbelief is like a fire extinguisher that quenches the fire of faith .Jesus was disappointed that His disciples had not been able to cast this devil out. These disciples had also already used this power and authority successfully on previous occasions, thus more was expected of them than from other followers of Christ. They were already acquainted with the supernatural and were anointed of God to do the miraculous .
    The believer in Jesus Christ filled with the Holy Ghost has power to do the miraculous and this is expected to be a usual occurrence in their service towards God. If you are filled with the Holy Ghost , you have the ability to raise the dead, heal the sick , cleanse the leper, open blind eyes right now. You do not need to attend a bible school or be an ordained preacher in a ministry to do this.
         We can always look around and find many  Christians who are not using this power because they see themselves as being of the world , but 2 Corinthians 10:12 says that comparing ourselves among ourselves is not wise. Do not compare yourself with persons who do not believe in the supernatural, it is one sure way to lose faith in the supernatural. It is abnormal to operate by faith among humans but normal in the spirit .
      It is alright to be different as long as God approves of your actions. The journey of faith is a personal one (Isaiah51:1-2) and full of battles; most of which are ideological and have to be overcome with a logical approach to God’s word. It is like flying : trust the wind of faith to carry you. The journey is not the same for any two persons and it requires regular prayer and fasting while meditating on the word of God especially the gospels and the book of the acts of the apostles .Always see yourself as being used for miracles  like one the disciples , the power of God dwells in you. 
    Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace for the miraculous manifestation of the anointing  of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name..

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
