HOW TO AVOID BEING A VICTIM OF THE ENDTIME APOSTASY

Matt 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.".
As we approach the end of the human age and the second coming of Christ, the world shall experience an increase in demonic activities because the Devil knows that his time is up . This period shall witness the greatest fall amongst Christians because of the enemy's intrusion into the church. The fall is known as the apostasy which means disloyalty. Jesus predicted that disloyalty shall be a common trend in the last days.
Our worship determines our commitment to one another. Therefore, disloyalty to Christ is the foundation of one's disloyalty to one's spouse, family or community . Marriages have been hard hit by this with an ever increasing number in divorce rates among believers. One's devotion to Christ determines his or her devotion to one's spouse. Love is an irrevocable commandment by the lord (John 13:34 ) . In the last days the message of love and mercy shall be replaced with that of vengeance by many false preachers, this is the reason for the crisis in many families . The scriptures says we have been called to the ministry of reconciliation to reconcile men back to God and to one another (2Cor.5:18-19). The enemy shall introduce false preachers who shall deemphasize the teaching of reconciliation, leading to the hardening of the hearts of many . It is common to hear two Christians in the same congregation praying against each other's progress in the quest for material gains due to the misconception of the doctrine of prosperity which often is taught along the lines of self-centeredness instead of our commonwealth (Acts2:44-45)
From the primary to tertiary institutions ,quality time is given in the explanation of concepts, this is to ensure that students are well grounded in the subjects being taught . The same is needed in the teaching of the gospel, false teachers discourage this. In the old testament, the day of the Sabbath was set aside for the research of scriptures, under the new testament, we aren't under the restrictions of the Sabbath however the objective remains the same ,we are enjoined to study to show ourselves approved unto God(2Tim2:15) . The time spent on scriptures determines how much time we can spend with our family without offending each other .It is the irritation spouses have for themselves that leads to many seeking for love outside the marriage, spending quality time on scriptures is the cure for marital irritations (psalm 119:165). The word of God increases our capacity to tolerate each other.
The falling away of many from church in the last days must take place in other to fulfill prophecy (2Thess 2:1-3) and shall be characterized by a disinterest in sound doctrines. False teachers attribute all problems to a witch or wizard thereby depriving parishioners the opportunity of gaining sound knowledge of God's word .It is the ignorance of life's boundaries as defined by scriptures that leads to the fall of many(Hosea4:6,Matt.22:29) The word of God shows us the limits and boundaries that must be adhered to for a peaceful and joyous life. False teaching says Christ has removed all boundaries: if that be the case we shouldn't get offended by the betrayal of our trusts by those we hold in high esteem and also there shouldn't be any need for marriage since it comes with so much restrictions.The preacher that teaches liberty without limits is corrupt and leads followers into satanic bondage (2Pet2:9) unfortunately many Christians have fallen into the trap that comes with the promise of liberty and struggle with loneliness ,emotional abuse and losses. The enemy capitalizes on our ignorance of the scriptures to lead us astray (2Thes.2:23,5,Gal.1:6-7)
False teachers are undoubtedly prominent and are acquainted with the word of God but are not saved (Jn3:1-10,Jer.2:8) .They deliberately twist the scriptures to suite their personal gains (1Tim.1,5,6) and promote human traditional religion and doctrines over the Word of God (Isa.29:13b,Mk7:6) this is behind the crisis of denominational-ism and racism in our communities (1cor.1:10-13,Rom 14:1-6) . The rigid setting of denominations gives no room for logical discourse and questions on doctrinal issues .It is in the questioning of teachings that truth is revealed and until a person personally discovers truth he or she is prone to apostatizing . Daily asking the lord to create an unquenchable hunger for His word keeps one from being carried away by the ill wind of apostasy May you be found worthy for the masters use in Jesus name.
