OUR SECURITY AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT BUSINESS FAILURE
HOW TO BE THE PREFERRED CHOICE IN BUSINESS AND THE WORKPLACE

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
The world has more than enough resources to cater for the needs of humanity. It is therefore, ironic that despite the enormous human and natural resources gross poverty has remained a reoccurring decimal amongst us . The reason being that the majority of these resources are in the hands of a few persons. There is a dearth of men and women of integrity in to whom resources will be given for distribution to those in need.
The primary purpose for the establishment of businesses is for the harnessing of the earth's resources into a useful form for the benefit of humanity and to build relationships that guarantees sustainability. Whenever businesses fail, the cause can be traced to a failed relationship needed for the sustenance of the business. Relationships are sustained by integrity that's why it remains the most important asset in the life of the believer in Christ.
The Christian character is revolves around one's faithfulness to God and man and it is the bases upon which we enjoy God's favour. The scriptures says in Proverbs.3:3 -4"Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. " Whenever, integrity is operational in any organization, there is a gross reduction in its operational cost and increase in net profit . This is what employers of labour seek for worldwide. Therefore, true practitioners of the Christian's faith are always in demand in the business world.They are indispensable to the survival of any business.
We are the light of the world, a source of inspiration for excellence in the cooperate world (Matt.5:16) .therefore we should not partner with any system that seeks to compromise truth but stay on the good side (Rom.13:3) it isn't every opportunity to make money that should be considered as a blessing from, God, He abhors corruption and frustrates the corrupt fellow. There is no blessing when a person steals and gives some of it for missionary work such as church building projects, with the hope that they'll be exempted from the consequences . Isaiah 61:8 says "For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them." God doesn't bless a person for destroying the lives of others. We are expected to be law abiding citizens (1peter 2:13,14)
The true believer in Christ is contented and honest in his or her dealings in the work place and business world, this is one reason why it is hard to lay off such persons when companies are downsizing ,the scriptures says in 1Thes4:12 "That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. Titus 2:10 AMP "Nor to steal by taking things of small value, but to prove themselves truly loyal and entirely reliable and faithful throughout, so that in everything they may be an ornament and do credit to the teaching [which is] from and about God our Savior.". We are to bear in mind that whatever is done in secret shall be brought to the open and and seek to create a good impression about the gospel to the public. Most persons who claim to hate Christianity do so because of a very unpleasant experience they had with a christian. It's for this reason that we should avoid anything that brings reproach to the name of Jesus, 1 Timothy 5:14 says " I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully".also the scriptures says in 2cor.6:3 "Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: " churches and minister suffer a lot because of the inappropriate behaviour of church members.It hinders church expansion.
We are admonished to be blameless and honest in our dealings with non-Christians (Philippians 2:15,) and our children shouldn't be noted for gangsterism (Titus1:6) they should never be allowed unbridled access to the unwholesome entertainment the world has to offer , young christian parents in a bid to appear trendy expose their children to ungodly entertainment from predators ,this affects the spiritual and emotional health of these children who turn out to become predators themselves in future Proverbs 29:15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame." children should be trained to have a sense of duty needed for gainful employment.
It is a misconception of the message to preach on 'liberty ' as though we are free to do whatever we please. The scriptures teaches about the perfect 'law' of liberty (James 1:25) it implies liberty under a law not lawlessness as some erroneously teach, it is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and the Spirit is against the sinful nature (Gal.5:19-21.) that means the Christian liberty shouldn't be a stumbling block to others (Rom.14:13-21, 1cor.8:8-13) .The liberty we enjoy is to enable us demonstrate the love of God to the world and not an excuse to indulge in criminal activities (Gal.5:13) . Our target in all our dealings should be the salvation of souls for the kingdom of God, therefore we shouldn't be driven by the selfish worldly passion for accumulation of wealth (1Tim 6:8,luke12:15), this is the reason behind the collapse of the world's economic system and the failure of the marriage institutions in many communities(1cor.7:31, Eph 4:28, Acts20:35) because it requires being a slave to one's job or business, this is a fallout of the loss of the sense of divine purpose.Joy in the workplace is the reward of promoting the gospel through one's workplace or business.
Many Christians today measure how blessed they are based on how much material wealth they've accumulated. This is wrong theology, this teaching is behind the economic woes of many Christians ,it leads to the few rich getting richer at the expense of the poor majority .God is against the accumulation of wealth (1Tim.6:10, luke12:19-21,Rev.3:15-18) especially among preachers of the gospel. In a bid to impress a preacher who's given to accumulation of material wealth ,parishioners engage in ungodly acts in a bid to be recognized among the so-called" blessed ", the ministry thus becomes a place for the display of material wealth with so many tails of woe instead of being a place of acquiring godly virtues.
