SPEAKING IN TONGUES CURES SPIRITUAL WEAKNESS AND FEAR

1 Cor 14:18 NKJV “ I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; “
           Spiritual weakness  is characterized by fear and instability. Whenever truth is taught, peace is an inevitable outcome. The Word of God is truth (John17:17) and whenever it takes preeminence in our heart, we receive inner peace , gladness ,confidence and stability, the scriptures say in Ps 119:165 NKJV “Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.”  The absence of God’s word is behind family and societal instability. Money and religion cannot take the place of God’s Word in a marriage or family; unfortunately many think otherwise and the result isn’t far-fetched.
     After receiving Christ as lord and saviour , a regular balanced diet of God’s word is necessary for a healthy growth spiritually (1Peter 2:2) The confidence and spiritual energy a person operates in is directly proportional to the amount of revelation knowledge of Christ he or she has received and put to test (2 Peter 3:18)
      The absence of the revealed knowledge of Christ in a person makes them susceptible to deception by religious tricksters. We are admonished in Eph 4:14-15 NKJV “ that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ”
            Whenever we speak the truth, we experience a transcendental metamorphosis from our low human state into Jesus’ spiritual status .This happens in our spirit through the Holy Ghost. The scripture describes the Holy Ghost as the Spirit of truth (John14:17, 15:26, 16:13) Truth is a personality, He is Jesus Christ who also is the Living word of God (John17:17, John1:14). Truth has its language and distinct from any known language. It is the language spoken by the human irrational subconscious man. That’s why when He speaks through a dream at night; it really doesn’t make sense until interpreted by a person skilled in the language of Truth. The language of the Spirit of Truth is laterally inverted and diametrically opposed to that of human knowledge. For instance, it says, pray for your enemies, and give to receive: this is contrary to human logic.
                When we pray in the language of the spirit (tongues), we shouldn’t expect it to make logical sense because it transcends human logic; it is God’s personal language with which He created the universe. 1 Cor 2:14-15 NKJV” But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”. It is normal to be mocked when we speak in tongues, however, that shouldn’t deter us because it is the key towards experiencing spiritual revival and miracles anytime.'Tongues' (Greek:Glossa which means an unlearned language ) is a gift of the Holy Spirit for the strengthening of the human spirit.1Cor14:4AMPsays”He who speaks in a [strange] tongue edifies and improves himself..” That’s why Paul was thankful in his proficiency at exercising this gift more than anyone: he achieved more than the early disciples.  It is God’s desire that all men speak in tongues. 1 Cor 14:5 AMP “Now I wish that you might all speak in [unknown] tongues”
