IN HEAVEN WHILE ON EARTH
John 17:14-16" I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."
There are two operating systems on earth, first, the kingdom of God headed by Jehovah, administered by His son also known as "The Word of God " and empowered and energized by the Holy Ghost who also serves as the law enforcement agent of the kingdom with the uncountable number of angels and the saints. The scriptures gives us a glimpse of what constitutes the kingdom of God also known as Zion, the city of the most high God in Hebrews 12:Hebrews 12:22-24 AMP "But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering, And to the church (assembly) of the Firstborn who are registered [as citizens] in heaven, and to the God Who is Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous (the redeemed in heaven) who have been made perfect, And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]. "
The phrase"you are come " is in the present tense and positional, implying the born again christian may be physically present on earth bodily, he is also in another world known as mount sion, the city of God. We are aliens from another world. To better understand this, imagine what happens when a submarine ship is sent into the bottom of the ocean, it has its own atmosphere and provisions for its occupants yet it isn't part of the body of water that constitutes the ocean. Likewise, the born again christian is cocooned by a heavenly system designed for sustainability on earth and yet we are not part of the world’s system that has been cursed to fail (1cor.10:11 )
In effect we are in heaven yet on earth. The scriptures supports this view in John3:13 "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." Jesus was speaking to His audience on earth and yet claimed He was in heaven. Therefore, with this understanding it will be illogical to pray while looking into the skies hoping for God's presence to come from a far away galaxy. He is with us and in us, though invisible to the physical eyes. Stephen just before he gave up the ghost alluded to this truth when he said in Acts7: 56 "And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."
Our stay on earth is temporal (Hebrews 11:13) .We are strangers to this world (Psalm 119:19a) and as strangers we are not bound to the misfortunes that have befallen the earth as a result of man's wickedness. We are not to see the earth as our permanent abode, we have a hope of our heavenly abode (Psalm 49:11-12). One day the earth shall be cleansed and replaced with God's kingdom on earth. Heaven and earth shall once again be one entity as it was in the beginning before the rebellion in Eden.
The world's operating system is governed by Satan through the world's media and projected through unwholesome entertainment. It is designed to promote the Antichrist's agenda through a perverted culture that celebrates evil as good and promotes those willing to conform to this system to celebrity status. Such persons are victims of abuse who struggle with low self esteem and in need of love and attention and by choice have become slaves to the system ( Ephesians 2:2-3).
We are admonished not to conform to the world's Antichrist system.(Romans.12:2a) you cannot experience the fullness of God’s blessings while living by the dictates of the world's selfish, arrogant and presumptuous system. The world is full of evil, the best person who hasn't given their life to Christ is filled with such unimaginable evil in their heart ( 1John 5:19) . They show kindness for selfish reasons and hate the godly. It is for that reason that we are not to be unequally yoked or be emotional attached to anyone operating by the world’s system, it always leads to disastrous results. Once emotionally involved with a worldly fellow, our passion for prayer,fellowship, evangelism,tithing and offerings, chastity and wholesome biblical mentoring diminishes and we become open to satanic manipulations ,intimidation and oppression by the spirit of fear (Hebrews 2:15). Those Christians seeking for 'deliverance' have emotional ties to the world's system. You can't be delivered from what you love.
Emotional entanglement with a Jesus -hater regardless of the temporary gains they may present is to be discouraged: many lives and christian ministries have been lost as a result of this (Ephesians 5:11,Proverbs24:1,proverbs 1:15) whatever we sacrifice for a wholesome fellowship with Christ is given to us on earth a hundred times and over. Mark10: 29 "And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life."
