RECEIVE GRACE FOR DURABLE RICHES

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi
John 21:6 NKJV And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
The world's economic system is not sustainable Eccl TLB 5:11-12 says The more you have, the more you spend, right up to the limits of your income. So what is the advantage of wealth-except perhaps to watch it as it runs through your fingers! God does not want you to labour in vain . The scriptures say in Isa 3:10 Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned! He desires that we prosper and be in good health (3Jn2). We have been delivered from  the curse of poverty (Ga3:13) therefore, it is not proper to say  "God made me poor". That is contrary to His divine nature .God wants us to be rich spiritually and materially . 2 Cor 8:9 KJV For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Instead of the curse , we have been given grace;  Charis’ in the Greek,it means ,the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude, benefit, joy, liberality, pleasure, thank-worthy. These are the qualities of the wealthy ,this is what the phrase might be rich means ,it is the Greek word   Plouteo which means: wealthy (literally or figuratively), it means to be increased with goods, be made, wax rich. Some religious folks seem to hypocritically identify with poverty as though it is a sin to be wealthy; they are quick to condemn the rich . It is not a sin to be rich, made, increased in goods;  it is a provision in our redemption through Christ. Poverty is not God's will for us. God wants to make you rich so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient ,possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.God hates poverty
Poverty is a mental disposition described in 2 Kings 19:3-4 “…Today is a day of trouble, insults, and disgrace. It is like when a child is ready to be born, but the mother has no strength to deliver the baby.” It is the inability to be creative and productive .It is man-made : the result of selfishness and a disconnect from God's purpose for our lives .God commands us to spend a fraction of our income for the propagation of the gospel (1 cor.16:1-3. Gal.6:6) failure to do this gives Satan the advantage. It deprives us of the emotional, spiritual and physical support system needed for creativity and productivity to take place. Grace for durable riches is manifested when we consciously invest in missionary work.
The disciples in John 21: 3-6 could not catch any fish until they received grace through the teaching of the word of God, this also in Luke 5:6  Peter was rewarded with a great harvest after Jesus used his boat for missionary work. Our jobs and or businesses are extensions of Christ's Church ,failure to acknowledge this results in unpleasant consequences (Haggai1:6-10).   Matt 10:40-42 NIV says ".. Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward,. The reward comes as good will (Psalm50:5) and angelic assistance (2kings6:17).
Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace for overflowing wealth and riches in Jesus name.
