TRUST THE LORD FOR YOUR SECURITY - part 1

      Matt 6:25-27,28,33-34  TLB "So my counsel is: Don't worry about things-food, drink, and clothes. For you already have life and a body-and they are far more important than what to eat and wear.  Look at the birds! They don't worry about what to eat-they don't need to sow or reap or store up food-for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are.  Will all your worries add a single moment to your life?
 "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the field lilies! They don't worry about theirs.  "So don't be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.” 
   Security is the state of being free from danger or threat , the opposite is insecurity which is the tendency to feel anxious, fearfinsecurity; being apprehensive regarding present or future or circumstances or situations.
  Jesus Christ predicted over 2000 years ago that there shall be a steady rise in the level insecurity the world over Matt 24:12-13 NIV  “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, “  wickedness increases whenever ungodly persons are in position of leadership .   
     Insecurity is primarily caused by inequitable distribution of resources and oppression. This is what teachers of the ‘doctrine of dominion’ promote. Jesus Christ condemned this theology in its entirety, it is the foundation of the mismanagement of resources . Jesus Christ said in    Matt 20:25-26 KJV “You know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But IT SHALL NOT BE SO AMONG YOU : but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;”
   The word dominion is the Greek ‘katakurieuo ‘ it means to lord against, i.e. control, subjugate:” There is an insatiable desire by teachers of the ‘doctrine of dominion’ to control others. Marriages are being destroyed by this doctrine resulting in emotionally scared children who turn into problematic adults that cause instability and insecurity in communities.
  Security is not in how far we are from potential threats but in our closeness by faith to the lord. Looking to the things of this world for security creates a sense of insecurity because anything man-made is prone to instability and failure. The word of God is our stabilizer whenever we feel insecure. Jesus Christ is the word of God and he is the same, he never changes (Hebrews13:8). He always keeps to his promises.
Prayer : Heavenly Father , forgive me of my sins I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as my Lord and savior and receive grace for stability and security in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
