HOW TO IMPROVE ON YOUR PERSONALITY AND BE MORE APPEALING

  John 6:53 KJV “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.”
John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
       These are some of the statements Jesus made after which a majority of His disciples and over 60% of His followers walked out on Him because He said that our spirit, not our flesh, is where our life comes from. The disciples described it as hard sayings because it was the exact opposite of what the religious leaders taught.
            These followers have for long been ruled by a carnal way in their pursuit of righteousness with God. It involved all manner of ritualistic animal sacrifices and cleansing handed down to them by their forefathers and had been in practice for 42 generations (Matt 1:17)
; that’s well over a thousand years of going through the motions. They failed to understand that longevity doesn’t translate to authenticity. A 1000 year old lie does not become truth with the passage of time.  They had adapted to and built a culture around the carnal worship of God that could not bring about a positive change in the life of those who practiced it; but yet they took pride in it. Man- made religion is hard to break away from because it serves as a smokescreen for many to indulge in shameful deeds. In Christ our deeds are exposed and this gives room for true healing. You cannot treat a wound when it is concealed.
            Therefore, when Jesus said He was indispensable to them (just as food is to the human body) in their quest for true salvation, these religious folks became agitated because this kind of doctrine invalidates what they’ve grown to accept as a true way of life. Rejecting truth leads to a life without peace.
             The born again experience is literally a life changing experience that cannot be faked. It is emotional, intellectual, argumentative and intuitive, it is an undeniable experience. Lives are transformed for the good through this life transformation process where Jesus Christ exchanges your old life for His.
              Many persons have actually been freed from their addictions to destructive tendencies after receiving God’s word into their hearts. They received a new kind of consciousness of righteousness, peace and joy. This new consciousness has an affinity for integrity, dignity, peace and virtuous living. 
         The word of God is of no benefit to anyone who’s bent on using it to propagate a carnal religion; that’s why a lot of persons claim they cannot comprehend the bible. The bible is a physical container that carries the truth of God’s word. This truth can only be decoded in the human Spirit by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every letter in the bible was inspired by the Holy Ghost and is spirit and life (2Pet 1:21). It is like petrol and fire from the spark-ignition combustion engine of a car without which the vehicle cannot move. Our spirits are like the force produced by the explosive activity in the combustion chamber of a car.  When we receive the word it comes alive in our hearts and gives us the enablement to live according to God’s will. That is why before Satan destroys a Christian he will first deprive that person of God’s word by inducing him or her to reject the sound teachings of God’s word. He does this by using those things we lust after like money, social influence, love and sex, food etc (Hosea 4:6, 1peter2:1, 1john2:16, James1:14) but when we turn to the Word, we are quickened (made alive, vitalized) by the Holy Spirit to accomplish great things and live a robust victorious life to the glory of the Father.

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
