Scientifically , it is impossible to grow any crop by planting its seed in a soil devoid of organic manure and moisture but with God all things are possible to the person in agreement with Him. In Genesis 26: 12 Isaac defied the laws of agricultural science by growing crops out of a nutrient -free and moisture -free soil. It was a season of severe famine and supernaturally he received in the same year one hundred fold against the conventional fifty percent increase prescribed by agricultural scientists under good conditions .
Isaac became the sole producer of food in the country and enjoyed a monopoly and profit in his farming business. This is what happens when we walk in the consciousness of the blessing upon our lives. Your case is different , you are crowned with favour all year round "You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!"Psalm 65:11-13 (NLT): God's favour upon His children isn't seasonal but our consciousness is periodic by choice.
Within a year of investment Isaac received a bountiful harvest , waxed great, went forward and became very influential . He became very wealthy with an ever increasing business empire. His obedience to God's instruction to invest in an inhospitable place as a demonstration of his trust in God caused him to enjoy uncommon favour which made him thrive,flourish, succeeding and advancing progressively with vigorous double- digit growth, increasing in stocks and bonds with a vast estate.
He became the most economically viable person in the country . He had possessions of flocks of sheep, herds of cattle and a great number of employees.This elicited jealousy from his neighbours who tried to stop him but he would not quit and God gave him more room for expansion .Gen 26.13-24
The secrete behind thriving in times of famine lies in obedience ,that is the catalyst for unprecedented growth and prosperity. Isaiah 1:19: "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." He also kept making physical investments ( purchasing and planting of seeds on purchased fields) and tangible kingdom oriented investments .
Opportunities abound to invest in the kingdom of God on a continuous bases. This shouldn't be predicated on economic seasons, Eccl 11:4 (AMP) says: "He who observes the wind [and waits for all conditions to be favorable] will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap." Isaac Kept honouring God with the tenth of his income just as his father Abraham taught him (Gen 14:20)this was 430 years before Moses made it part of the Jewish moral code. Abraham willingly gave a tenth of his wealth as a mark of submission to God's authority and taught his children to do same in Genesis 18:19 God said "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord…."
We should not relent in our faith- walk just as Isaac didn't quit standing in faith. Hebrews 10:35 (AMP): "Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward." As you read this now receive grace for a hundred fold harvest in Jesus name.
