IT SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU

Mark 8:24-26 NKJV “And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
        Jesus’ healing methods were a reflection of God’s love for us, they were very unconventional: He laid hands, prophesied and in this case used saliva therapy .He did not operate by using any religious model or template. Each miracle was unique in nature with a message and in this case the scripture says Jesus took the blind man out of town and spat on his eyes after which he asked to know if he could see, it took two treatments before the desired result was achieved. This is contrary to what is observed in many churches were people are openly put in the public domain and made a spectacle of with digital theater effects for the media , Jesus did all he could do to maintain the dignity of those he prayed for.
       The use of saliva was indicative of the informal and people oriented approach of the message of grace to humanity. Through this, he highlighted the potency of the born again Christian. Everything including our saliva is valuable in the born again Christian and contains healing virtue; therefore our bodies shouldn’t be treated with levity but as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
         The miracle working power operates like water current in a river, the scriptures declares that  rivers of living water shall flow from the belly of those who believe in Jesus Christ (John7:38), this is symbolic of the miracle working power of God in us . When a river is stirred up , it triggers waves and these waves move with power influencing the surrounding . Our faith in God’s word produces various degrees of faith-waves with corresponding results , the scriptures say in Matt 13:23 KJV  “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Some persons can only believe thirty percent of what they are taught in God’s word, some sixty and some hundred, and it is in the same measure you give your heart to believe God’s word that you receive a miracle( luke6:38).
          The miracle working power is always on standby and it can only go as far as we permit. If the blind fellow hadn’t replied after the first treatment, he would have been left with partial vision. Faith does not deny facts, religion teaches us to say “it is well” as a demonstration of our faith, this miracle debunks that logic, Jesus through this proved that truth, reason and fact are interrelated and interchangeable. What is true is also fact, when God says you are healed it is a fact, the same with supplying our needs, scriptures nullifies the “It is well logic” as substitute for facts. In 2 kings 4:27-35 from where this term is derived, Gehazi was not afraid to state the fact that the dead child was not responsive (Vs31) this prompted Elisha’s persistence in prayer and the dead boy was resurrected.   James 2:15-17 NKJV “If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” Jesus did not tell the blind to go home and keep saying “it is well” but was persistent until the desired result was achieved likewise we have to be persistent in trusting God by overcoming our doubts with relevant scriptures and bringing to remembrance past miracles. God wants you healed and prosperous and He isn’t weary of your case, He admonishes us in Gal 6:9 AMP “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”Keep on praying, giving,preaching,teaching, trusting, loving. It shall be well with you (Isaiah3:10).

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
